Mark 5:36 (NKJV)
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid; only believe."

Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Mark 11:22 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God."

God's word is Truth, as a dear friend of mine once said, "All else is just a bunch of noise!" The ruler of the synagogue swallowed his fear and believed that Jesus would raise his daughter from the dead and the father of the child had to believe that Jesus could do what no other could do and deliver his son from the torment of the devil. Each day each of us have to make a choice either believe God's word or believe the circumstances of life; seeing is not believing, it is seeing, believing is believing, and that is faith.

Abba Father our faith and trust must be in You, Your word tells us that we can overcome the world and all of its evil by simply believing that Jesus is Your Son (1 John 5:5), no matter what the world throws our way, we must stand tall and simply say, "We believe!" It is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, our Protector, our Provider, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Psalm 37:3 - 6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Trust God, Delight yourself in Him, Commit all you do to Him, He will provide

Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV)
Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.

Commit yourself to God and your thoughts will be as His thoughts

1 Colossians 1:26 & 27 (NKJV)
The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior resides in us, He is our hope, He is our forever promise

John 15:7 & 8 (NKJV)
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

Abide in Jesus, allow His words to be your words, His thoughts to be your thoughts, God will provide - His plan for our lives has always been the same - He is our Father and we are His children and He desires to give us His best

Abba Father You gave us Your very best, You gave us Jesus, may we always abide in Him and may His words always abide in us and may You always be glorified as our lives bear fruit and we are recognizable as Your disciples; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Peter 1:18 - 23 (NKJV)
Know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver and gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory so that your faith and hope are in God. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth though the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

2 Corinthians 5:20 & 21 (NKJV)
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ's behalf be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

1 John 4:9 & 10 (NKJV)
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world  that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Jesus Christ the incorruptible, indestructible, living seed of God our Father, the Savior of man, He is love, and we are family

Abba Father, our Father, Daddy, as we rest in Your promise, the comfort of Your strong right arm, the more we know and understand Jesus, the more we know Your majesty (Ephesians 3:19); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 Corinthians 10:3 - 6 (NKJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

The next time you are angry, the next time you are offended, the next time your thoughts are thoughts of unforgiveness and condemnation - Think on This!

Jesus loves me and forgives me and He has commanded me to love others as He has loved me (John 13:34 & 35) and to forgive others as He has forgiven me (Matthew 6:12). Jesus gives me His peace (John 16:33) and His joy (John 15:11) and when I abide in Him and His words abide in me He gives me the desires of my heart (John 15:7).

Ephesians 6:12 & 13 (NKJV)
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age; against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand the evil day, and having done all to stand.

When you wrestle against your flesh and the flesh of others you are in the devil's playground and you will lose every time, but when you fight the battle with God's word you do not fight alone, Jesus stands with you and in His strength you win every time.

Abba Father Your words are truth, Your words are powerful, and Your words are victory, may Your words be our words as we journey through life as Your humble and obedient servants; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:14 - 19 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

3 John 2 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

God wants us to know and experience all of Him:

His love (John 3:16), His forgiveness (Colossians 1:14), His peace (John 14:27), and His joy (John 15:11)

His truth (John 15:7 & 8), His plan (Jeremiah 29:11), and His purpose (Philippians 3:14)

God gave us His best (Jesus) - His will is for us to be our best

Mark 11:22 - 24 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Have Faith in God - Jesus never did anything His Father did not instruct Him to do and He never said anything His Father did not  instruct Him to say - why should we be any different - Have Faith in God

Abba Father how awesome it is that You gave us Jesus, the perfect life model to follow, that we might  have life, life abundant, and life eternal; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 8:12 (NKJV)
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

In the scriptures preceding a young woman caught in adultery is brought before Jesus for judgment, to be stoned; but rather than pass judgment, Jesus directs His attention to the accusers and makes this statement, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." And of course the accusers back away.

All too often we do the same thing, judge someone because of their circumstance or judge someone because of their appearance; the truth is there is no circumstance of life so horrible that can not be overcome in the strength of Jesus and there is no sin so grievous that can not be washed clean by the blood of Jesus.

With Jesus positive life change is not only possible for us but it is probable and is His greatest joy.

Colossians 1:13 & 14 (NKJV)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

The forces of evil are impotent wimps, defeated foes in the face of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, make the choice today, make Jesus the Light of your life and let His Light shine through you into the darkness of the world.

Abba Father we can not praise You enough for giving us Jesus, the Light of the world, may His light always be visible in us as we journey through life here on earth; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 2:4 - 10 (NKJV)
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Jesus the perfect Lamb - we who believe imperfect sheep being perfected daily as we walk in His good works - love, forgiveness, joy, and peace

Psalm 23:5 (NKJV)
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

We make our earthly journey with Jesus by our side, He and He only, keeps us upright and presents us before our Father faultless (Jude 24), we are His greatest joy.

Abba Father we are Your workmanship, set apart and recognizable as Your children. purposed to draw others from darkness to the Light of Your love, Your Son Jesus Christ; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Yesterday, I mistakenly gave credit to David for Proverbs 3:5 - 8 when I should have give credit to Solomon.

Jeremiah 29:11 - 13 (NKJV)
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you", says the LORD, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

God's greatest desire is for us to be in continual conversation with each and everyone of us, He wants to hear the desires of our heart and He wants to share His truth with us, He wants us to rejoice in our future with Him confident in His promise to be with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9).

Philippians 3:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

A dear friend of mine often says this, "It is ok to reflect on the past but never, ever take up residence in the past!" God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, and that purpose and plan is revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ, abide in Him and allow His words to abide in you and the desires of your heart will be yours (John 15:7) and your future will be life and life abundantly (John 10:10).

Abba Father You are our Father and we are our Your beloved children, may we each and every day come boldly before Your throne (Hebrews 4:16) with humble, obedient, and teachable hearts ready to receive Your truth which will guide us through life in a manner pleasing to You (Colosians 1:10) according to Your plan and Your purpose; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Proverbs 3:5 & 6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not of your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

David teaches us to Trust God Completely and He will direct us through life.

Philippians 4:11 - 13(NKJV)
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Paul teaches us make our relationship with Jesus paramount over the circumstances of life and in the strength of Jesus all things are possible.

John 14:16 & 17 (NKJV)
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

And Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, our 365/24/7 Helper who guides us daily in God's Truth.

Abba Father how wonderful it is that through out Your Word we find direction to keep us upright and on the path and promise of life both abundant and eternal; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Galatians 3:26 - 29 (NKJV)
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

A member of God's Family, a joint heir with Jesus - How awesome it is

Ephesians 2:19 - 22 (NKJV)
Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

A fellow citizen with Peter and Paul, a building block in our eternal home

Abba Father You gave us Jesus and we became family forever together with all who came before and all who will follow, You are our God and we are Your beloved children; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Have no fear God is always near you

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

John 16:33 (NKJV)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Have no fear on your behalf Jesus has overcome the world and given you His peace - the peace that surpasses our understanding (Philippians 4:7)

Abba Father You walk beside us as we journey through life, Your Holy Spirit abides with us forever (John 14:16), and Jesus fills us with His joy (John 15:11), fear has no place with us, it is a joy to be Your child; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Psalm 23:5 & 6 (NKJV)
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Jesus said He came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10)

Revelation 21:3 & 4 (NKJV)
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Jesus said He came that we might have life forever in His presence (John 3:16)

Abba Father it has always been and always will be about your children dwelling with You, knowing the fullness of You (Ephesians 3:19), and walking in Your love (Colossians 1:10 - 14); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 John 2:21 (NKJV)
Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who denies the Father and His Son.

For God so loved that He gave His Son

1 John 3:23 (NKJV)
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us the commandment.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Risen Lord and our Risen Savior: Believe this unto salvation and eternal life with our Father God (John 3:16) and be His disciple and love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34 & 35)

Abba Father what a wonderful plan, we are family, You are our Father and Your Son is our brother, and together we have life, life abundantly and life forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Luke 15:20 - 24 (NKJV)
"And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants bring out the best robe and put it on him and  put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it and let us eat and be merry; for this is my son who was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry."

These wonderful words of Jesus are life and hope to the world, God our Father is continually searching for the lost and when one stray and lost person makes the slightest move toward God, He our Father, rushes to his side, surrounding him with His pure love and forgiveness urging him to do the one thing and only thing that will complete the reunion - say yes to Jesus, and then God pours out His very best, His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit.

James 4:7 & 8 (NKJV)
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Every time I read this scripture I get happy, that simple small step of saying yes to Jesus brings us the fullness of God; His love, His forgiveness, His joy, His peace, His provision and His protection. We become His beloved children, adopted into His family, joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

Abba Father You are not slack in Your desire that all should come to repentance and say yes to Jesus (2 Peter 3:9), how awesome it is that Your greatest desire is for us to be with You forever, for us to be Your people and You our God (Revelation 21:3); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:3 - 6 (NKJV)
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

God knows you intimately, every sin you ever committed and every sin you ever will commit, and yet He chose you to be His beloved child and He became the Man Jesus Christ to free you from sin and death, that my friend is the Truth.

Abba Father every day we fall to our knees and with eyes lifted and hands raised we sing Your praises with grateful hearts, You are good, all the time, You are good; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:19 & 20 (NKJV)
To know the love Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

The more humble and obedient we become. the more teachable we become, the  more available we become to Holy Spirit revelation, the more understanding we have of just how awesome is the love of Jesus, and the more awareness we have of the exceeding and abundant fullness of God that surrounds us

Jude 20 & 21 (NKJV)
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Our faith grows stronger each day, bolstered by the God's abundant love and mercy, as the Holy Spirit reveals His truth

Abba Father we are never alone, we have Your Spirit who dwells with us forever (John 14: 16 & 17) and fills us each day with the fullness of You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 5:6 - 11 (NKJV)
For when we were still without strength in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet perhaps for a good man someone would dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath by Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Before He went to the Cross, Jesus fell upon His face and prayed these words, " "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." (Matthew 26:39)

And as He hung upon the Cross, battered and beaten, evidence of all the evil the world could muster, Jesus spoke these words, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." (Luke 23:34) And just before His last breath, Jesus spoke, "It is finished!" (John 19:30) Job complete, Mission Accomplished.

When He was on the Cross not only were we on His mind but we were His purpose.

Abba Father when we read and meditate upon Your word the only thing worth doing is to say Thank You, thank You for Your love, thank You for Your forgiveness, thank You for Jesus, thank You for being our Father; it is in the name of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.

1 John 4:2 - 4 (NKJV)
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. and this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater that he who is the world.

Jesus is victory over the ways of the world, the devil is a liar, a cheat, and a thief - Who are you going to choose?

Abba Father You gave us Jesus and He is life and in Him we have victory and we are forever thankful; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Proverbs 3:5 - 10 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones. Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will  be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

What a simple plan - Trust God, Obey God, follow Him, abide in His truth and your life here on this earth will be long, healthy, and overflowing with good fruit.

Abba Father You are our source for all that is good, may we always say Yes to You and no to the ways of the world; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 8:23 (NKJV)
And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world."

Just as is Jesus we are not of this world but rather we are in this world called according to His purpose to be recognizable as God's beloved children and disciples of Jesus.

John 17:15 - 19 (NKJV)
"I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also send them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth."

Jesus prayed that as we journey through life on this earth that we be protected from all evil and be sanctified by His truth, no matter what the world may though our way, we have His eternal promise, forever in His love and forever in His family.

Abba Father how awesome it is that we have been adopted by You, loved and forgiven, redeemed from darkness, made righteous in Your sight by the blood of Jesus, family forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
