PRAYER

Ephesians 1:15 - 23 (NKJV)
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Ephesians 3:14 - 21 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ might dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Abba Father You are a great God and You are a great Father and in Your Son, Christ Jesus, we have the strength and power to be all that You have purposed us to be and to do all that You have called us to do, and we have the understanding to receive the fullness of You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

The Book of Acts
Acts 6:4 & 7 (NKJV)
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word...The word of God spread, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the the priests were obedient to the faith.
Spread the Word - Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundant John 10:10
Acts 7:55, 56 & 60 (NKJV)
But he (Stephen), being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, "Look I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."...Then he (Stephen) knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Stephen displays both the wisdom of God our Father and the unconditional forgiveness of His Son Jesus Christ
Acts 8:35 - 37 (NKJV)
Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized." Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
The Apostle John said, "He who believes that Jesus is the Son of God overcomes the world." 1 John 5:5
Acts 9:32 - 35 (NKJV)
Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lyydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately. So all who dwelt at Lyydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
Jesus the Christ heals us - Yesterday, Today, and Forever Hebrews 13:9
Acts 10:44 - 46 (NKJV)
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.
God our Father gives us a Helper (the Holy Spirit) and He will abide with us forever - John 14:16
Abba, Father You have given us a Helper, our Holy Spirit, who guides us in all truth and tells of things to come (John 16:13), with His help and empowered by You may we be unified in One Voice as we daily proclaim Jesus to the world around us; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

The Book of Acts

Acts 1:13 & 14(NKJV)
And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew;James the son of Aphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Acts 2:1 - 4 (NKJV)
When the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 3:1 - 7 (NKJV)
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.  And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful,  to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us." So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones  bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them - walking, leaping, and praising God.

Acts 4:8 - 10 (NKJV)
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him, this man stands before you whole."

Acts 5:29 - 32 (NKJV)
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."

Abba, Father may we this day and every day here after strive to walk in a manner most pleasing to You, as demonstrated by Your beloved sons Peter and John; one accord with all who believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior, filled with the Holy Spirit, daily in direct communication with You; always prepared, as instructed by You to share Your supernatural power with those in need; never failing to share the Gospel Truth that You so loved the world that You gave Your only begotten Son that whoever would believe in Him would not parish but have everlasting life; it is in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ who came that we would have Life and Life more abundantly that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Jesus Speaks

John 3:5 & 6
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Holy Spirit you are welcome in our lives

John 4:13 & 14
Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

Lord Jesus we willingly drink Your water

John 4:34

Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."

Lord Jesus You said "Follow", may we daily be about Your work

John 4:48
Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe."

Lord Jesus we have heard testimonies of Your great acts and have been blessed to witness some - We believe in You

John 5:8
Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed and walked.

Lord Jesus You are the same yesterday, today, and forever - Your Healing Touch is for each of us

John 6:35
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who comes to Me shall never thirst."

Lord Jesus we come to You and we receive the fullness of You

John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."

Lord Jesus we receive Your words, Your truth and we have life

John 8:10 & 11
When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one Lord." "Neither do I condemn you: go and sin no more."

Lord Jesus both Your Love and Your Forgiveness are without condition

Abba, Father may we this day and every day forward feed on the Words of Your Son Jesus Christ, He is the way, the truth and the life, He is the pathway to forever in Your presence; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
Victor Martinez is 11 years and he is hospitalized in Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia with DIPG (Difuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) which is an aggressive brain tumor - Medical Science has no known cure for this dread disease which attacks our youth, to date no child has ever survived this horrific disease; however, that is about to change

Jesus trumps the doubt of man with this promise -
"With men this is impossible (Healing Victor), but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

and this promise -
"For with God nothing will be impossible." Luke 1:37

In John 10:10 Jesus  defined for us Good versus evil

Jesus promises us Life and Life more abundantly

while the devil is hell bent on stealing our peace, killing our joy, and destroying our lives and the lives of those we love

Abba, Father we thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior and our Healer, into His Healing hands we place Victor Martinez and by faith proclaim that Jesus will answer our request as years ago he answered the request of the Centurion - "Yes, I will come and heal Victor!" It is in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the name above all other names, the name before which every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, "Our Lord Jesus Christ." It is in His name that we pray. Amen.

April 2018

Jesus loves you and Jesus forgives you

John 3:16 (NKJV)
"For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

The love of Jesus is without condition, there is nothing we can do to make him love us more than He already does, and there is nothing we can do to make Him love love us less; all we can do is accept and embrace His love

Matthew 26:39 (NKJV)
Jesus went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."

The death of Jesus upon the cross was required by the Father to free us forever from the grip of the devil, a purer love we had never known - the perfect love of the Savior of the world

Romans 8:37 - 39 (NKJV)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate you from the love of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior - nothing except you

Romans 8:14 - 17 (NKJV)
For as many as led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we also may be glorified  together.

We are family today, family tomorrow, family forever, joint heirs with Jesus and our inheritance will be forever in His presence - Yes, Jesus loves you!

Colossians 3:12 - 17 (NKJV)
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Thank You Jesus for Your love and for Your forgiveness, may each of us, each day and every day strive to be more like You

And they overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony  - Revelation 12:11

In their late 20's John and his wife walked away from Church and Jesus for 30 years, but God our Father never stopped loving them, Jesus our Lord and Savior never stopped seeking them, and the Holy Spirit never stopped speaking to them

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not wiling that any should perish but that all should come to repentance - 2 Peter 3:9

One night God in a vision exposed John to the true darkness of hell and in the middle of the night John awoke in a cold sweat and cried out, "Help me Jesus!"

But when he was still a long way off, his Father saw (heard) him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him - Luke 15:20

And instantly John saw the Holy Spirit standing rock solid with arms folded across His chest protecting John from the evils of hell and Jesus spoke these words -

"I am able to keep you from stumbling, My greatest joy is to present you faultless to My Father at the end of your earthly journey - Jude 24

And from that moment forward John proclaimed Jesus as his Lord, his Savior, and his Best Friend and continues today and every day to serve Him faithfully

If you had known  the teenage Robert you would have had a hard time ever believing that he was a Christian and one day as an adult would be involved in Men's Ministry, a born again Spirit filled lover of Jesus Christ

Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up - James 4:10

One day after a Sunday afternoon round of golf that was filled with multiple "GD's" and "JC's" Robert asked his Dad, "Why do we even bother going to Church," to which his father replied, "That is what all the people in this town (Small town North Carolina in 1958) do, so that is what we do!"

Fast forward to Spring 1992 in Houston, Texas and Robert is on his way to see one of his major customer's, "oldies but goodies" are blasting on the car radio, Robert is singing, not a care in the world, and suddenly on the radio a voice asks, "do you drink excessive amounts of alcohol," "are you constantly angry," "do you have relationship issues," to which Robert replied, "yes," "yes," and "Hell Yes!" And the voice on the radio continued, "On sale at "K Mart" a #1 Best Seller - "The Answer!" And as Robert pulled to a stop at the light at the intersection of 1960 and Kyrkendahl, Robert looked to his left and there was a "K Mart" and Robert turned left into the K Mart parking lot

"And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper (the Holy Spirit), that He may abide with you forever" - John 14:16

It was 10:00 AM on a Tuesday morning as Robert entered K Mart on a mission to find "The Answer!" The store was relatively empty and Robert spotted a young man stocking shelves and asked, "I am looking for a book you have called "The Answer," to which the young man replied, "Man, I have no clue, but Miss Betty over there, she knows everything."

Robert walked over to Miss Betty and asked the same question, "I am looking for book you have called "The Answer," and Miss Betty replied, "Why honey that's the Bible," and handed Robert "The Answer!"

"However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all Truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come" - John 16:13

It was 2 more years before Robert fell head over heels in love with Jesus, but the Holy Spirit had hooked him and Robert was headed God's way

Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)
And we overcome him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of our testimony, and we do not love our lives to the death

John 3:16 & 17 (NKJV)
For God so loved us that He gave us Jesus, that we who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not give us Jesus to condemn us, but that we through Jesus might be saved.

Robert (Bob) was by worldly definition a "Player" and that was when they were being kind, there were some that referred to Bob as an "Irresponsible Jerk", and others simply said that Bob had a mean and nasty spirit in him

At the ripe old age of 11, Bob made a calculated decision that controlled his life for the next 40 years; after being told by his parents that he could not go to the beach and spend the weekend at the beach house owned by his best friend Jim's parents, Bob decided and declared, "The hell with them, I am going to have a great weekend with my friend Jim, I can deal with the punishment when I get back," and there he was hitchhiking on the road to the beach

Now fast forward to Bob at age 51, he had settled into a Medical Supply sales career and from a distance most thought Bob was reasonably successful in life, but those closest to him were concerned and one day Bob's friend Jack looked him in the eye and questioned, "What's wrong with you Bob, you change jobs and women as often as you do your underwear?"

You see Bob viewed people as things to be used to his benefit; Bob featured himself as a master of relationships, he could always find a better job and he could always find another girl friend, Bob was about to find out just how wrong he had been

John 13:34 & 35 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I (Jesus) give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

There were two things that Bob desired more than women and they were "work" and "Beer"; early in his sales career Bob had observed other sales people having liquid lunches that often lasted way beyond the traditional lunch hour. In the beginning Bob even participated in a few of these lengthy liquid lunches, but his love of selling drove him to vow to never drink beer until the work day was over; however, once the work day was over Bob's first stop was the local convenience store and with a cold six pack in the passenger seat Bob headed home

But at age 51 Bob meet Sandra and his life changed forever

Jude 24 (NKJV)
Now to Him (Jesus) who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy

Sandra invited Bob over to her home for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and Bob's imagination ran wild, the 49ers were playing the Cowboy's at 3:00 PM and Bob thought, "If I play my cards right, this could be a wonderful evening ending with breakfast together in the morning"

So after lunch Sandra and Bob moved to the couch and promptly at 3:00 PM Bob tuned the TV to the 49er/Cowboy game and just as the National Anthem was finishing Sandra turned to Bob and asked, "Bob, tell me about your relationship with Jesus Christ!"

John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to Bob, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except though Me."

Bob never watched one play of the 49er/Cowboy game, but over the next 4 hours Bob's life was forever changed - Bob fell in love with Jesus, from that day forward Bob became a teacher and as a teacher he purposed his life to tell others the overwhelming joy of knowing the love of Jesus and sharing that love with others

Ephesians 3:19 & 20 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us

1 John 5:5 (NKJV)
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God

This email will go around the world, if you have a testimony that you would like to share with the world let me know - we do overcome by the words of our testimonies

John 15:5 (NKJV)
I (Jesus) am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 10:10B (NKJV)
"I (Jesus) have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."

God's Promises for You

The Book of Galatians

November 1, 2017

Galatians 1:3 - 5 (NKJV)
Grace to you and peace from God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Well meaning believer's in Jesus Christ sometimes ask this question, "I want to know what is God's will for my life?"

Here is one answer - God our loving Father deeply desires to separate us from the evils of this world and to do so He gave us, His beloved children, Jesus

November 2, 2017

Galatians 2:16 (NKJV)
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works or the law no flesh shall be justified.

For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:19 & 20)

November 3, 2017

Galatians 3:5 - 9 (NKJV)
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles  among you, does He do it by works of law, or by the hearing of faith? - just as Abraham  believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture foreseeing that God would justify, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed." So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing that was made was made...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:1 - 3 & 14)

November 4, 2017

Galatians 4:4 - 7 (NKJV)
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together (Romans 8:16 & 17)

November 5, 2017

Galatians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
I say then, "Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the faith, for the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:22 - 25)

November 6, 2017

Galatians 6:7 & 8 (NKJV)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9)

The Book of Ephesians

Ephesians 1:3 - 6 (NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise and glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13 & 14)

November 8, 2017

Ephesians 2:4 - 6 (NKJV)
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10)

Then God said, "Let Us (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness (Genesis 1:26)

Ephesians 5:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:34 & 35)

Abba, Father may we every minute or every hour or every day look to You and trust in You, the Author and Finisher of our faith, You gave us Jesus, and in Him we have Promise, promise of life, promise of life abundant, and above all promise of life eternal; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

As Pastor John Osteen shouted from the pulpit every Sunday morning with his Bible raised into the air - "This is my Bible, I am what it says I am and I can do what it says I can do."

In your Bible there is life, life abundant and life eternal

Galatians 1:11 & 12 (NKJV)
But I (Paul) make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (John 16:13)

Just as Paul was we can also be - hearing the voice of God and filled with revelation knowledge

The Book of Acts

Acts 20:7 - 12 (NKJV)
Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. There were many lamps in the upper room where they gathered together. And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus,  who was sinking into a deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep, and as Paul continued speaking, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead. But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, "Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him." Now when he had com up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till day break, he departed. And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted.

Jesus said this, "Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also;" (John 14:12)

Paul believed and did and you can do also

Acts 20:21 - 24 (NKJV)
Testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. And see, now I go bound in spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Paul walked by faith and not by sight

Paul knew he was an overcomer because he believed and preached that Jesus was the Son of God (1 John 5:5)

Acts 28:3 - 6 (NKJV)
But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, "No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live." But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm com to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.

Paul was not a god but he was a man of great faith who believed that Jesus was the Son of God

Acts 28:7 - 9 (NKJV)
In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.

Paul understood and believed the command of Jesus as recorded in the Book of Mark - "They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:18b)

Acts 28:30 & 31 (NKJV)

Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ Jesus with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23)

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Through out his ministry Paul never questioned his mission and never doubted that Jesus was with him

Romans 1:1 - 6 (NKJV)

Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with Power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ.

You who are reading this are among the called of Jesus Christ!

Romans 1:16 & 17 (NKJV)

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of  God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith.'"

Paul understood and believed that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, gave to him and to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of his and our understanding being enlightened; that he and we may know what is the hope of of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places  (Ephesians 1:17 - 20)

Romans 3:23 & 24 (NKJV)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is Christ Jesus.

God has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13 & 14)

God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Romans 6:23 (NKJV)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him  should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved - (John 3:17)

Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you (John 14:16 & 17)

Abba, Father we thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ for we can do all things in His strength and with Him by our side nothing is impossible, and we thank Your for Your Holy Spirit who resides in us and daily guides us in Your truth and tells us of things to come, may we always be attentive to the voice of Your Spirit and obedient to the direction of Your Son; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Acts 13:47 & 48 (NKJV)
