God sent His angel to deliver Peter from harm - God is your loving Father and He will send an angel to meet your need - just ask God and believe

Acts 13:47 & 48 (NKJV)
For the Lord has commanded us:
" I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth."
Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
We are reading this because the disciples of Christ were obedient to the command of Jesus

And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra,
Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them (Gentiles) by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did us (Jews).

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.
And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. (Acts 16:27)

Then he (the Jailer) called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must we do to be saved?" Acts 16:29 & 30)

So they (Paul and Silas) said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
It was then - it is now - and it always will be - For God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus (John 3:16)

For in Him (Jesus) we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'"
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16 & 17)

Acts 19:4 (NKJV)
Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands of them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. (Acts 19:5 & 6)
Abba, Father may we daily have our minds renewed with Your word, may our ears be receptive only to the voice of Your Holy Spirit, and may we be he/she who daily overcomes the world around us because we believe that Jesus is Your Son (1 John 5:5); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
