Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Abba, Father Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior said this, "He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." (John 14:12); may we, Your humble and obedient children, in the power You have given us, take authority over all sickness, disease and oppression of the devil, for as You are with Jesus You are with us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Psalm 77:11 - 15 (NKJV)
I will remember the works of the LORD; wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds. Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary; who is so great a God as our God? You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples; You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.

Colossians 1:13 & 14 (NKJV)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Psalm 118:17 (NKJV)
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Abba, Father we have overcome the devil by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11), we will not die but we will live forever in Your presence (John 3:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

John 8:31 & 32 (NKJV)
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come. He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you of things to come."

Jesus is Freedom! God's Word is Truth! Whatever bondage you may be carrying, whatever pain may have been inflicted upon you by the wickedness of this world - Jesus and His Truth will set you FREE!

Psalm 130: 7 & 8 (NKJV)
O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works  is us.

Only the devil wants us looking at our failures, God has a much better plan and His name is Jesus, He is our Future, He is our Hope (Jeremiah 29:11), in Him we have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10), and He gave us a Helper to be in us and with us  (John 14:16)

September 26, 2015

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Do not look at the problem, the trouble; but instead look to Jesus, your Redeemer, in His strength (Philippians 4:13) you overcome the world and all of its wickedness, because you believe that Jesus is the Son of God (Romans 8:37 & 1 John 5:5)

September 27, 2015

Psalm 32:10 & 11 (NKJV)
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous;  and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty (Revelation 1:8)

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus and He is all we need, today, tomorrow and forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Mark 1:40 & 41 (NKJV)
Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If you are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."

Jesus was moved with compassion and he healed the sick (Matthew 14:14)

Mark 5:32 - 34 (NKJV)
And He looked around to see who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

Jesus told the Centurion, "You have great faith, I will come and heal your servant." (Matthew 8:7)

Mark 6:53 - 56 (NKJV)
When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.

Believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. (Acts 5:14 - 16)

Abba, Father You anointed Your Son Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him (Acts 10:38); in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Ephesians 2:4 - 10 (NKJV)
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

God made Jesus who knew no sin to  be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Reach forward toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3;14)

September 20, 2015

Ephesians 5:8 - 14 (NKJV)
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light."

God has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13)

Jesus speaks to us saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12)

Abba, Father may we daily walk in a manner that is worthy of and fully pleasing to You (Colossians 1:10) and may Your fruit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22 & 23) - be evident in all we say and do; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

God our Father

Exodus 3:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you."

What a remarkable statement, God our Father says, "I AM!" In our darkest hours He says, "I AM HERE, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

We are never alone, He is always with us!

September 17, 2015

God our Lord and Savior

John 8:58 (NKJV)
Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

Before the foundation of the world God chose us in Jesus, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Chris to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. (Ephesians 1:4 & 5)

WE ARE FAMILY - Always have been, always will be!

September 18, 2015

God our Holy Spirit

John 14:16 & 17 (NKJV)
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, fore He dwells with you and will be in you."

Our Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth and He will tell us things to come. (John 16:13)

He is our guide for life!

Abba, Father You are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, may our eyes be opened and may our hearts be receptive to be filled with all the fullness of You (Ephesians 3:19 & 20), may our faith be rock solid and may we know that all things are possible with You (Mark 9:23), and may we be assured that when we pray we have what we pray because You are our Father and You are faithful to Your promise (Mark 11:22 - 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Philippians 2:14 & 15 (NKJV)
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

1 Peter 2:1 - 5 (NKJV)
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

You, as I, profess to be believers and confess often Jesus Christ as our Lord and as our Savior; yet you, as I, do not always have our light shinning brightly, but in Jesus we always have hope because He always looks forward urging us to embrace the upward call on our life (Philippians 3:14) and He is always by our side, ready to pick us up when we stumble and it gives Him great joy to present us faultless before His Father at the end of our earthly journey (Jude 24)

In His strength we can continually change for the better and in His strength we can be a positive difference in this world (Philippians 4:13)

September 15, 2015

2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 (NKJV)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

John 15:7 & 8 (NKJV)
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

The Word of God works and is beneficial to both our lives and the lives of those around us

Abba, Father may we feed daily on Your word, may our hearts be stuffed and overflowing with Your truth, may the light of Your love shine brightly in us, and all around us see You in us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Labor Day

John 4:34 (NKJV)
Jesus said to them, "My food is do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."

It is interesting that in the next 3 verses Jesus tells us that the world is ripe for the harvesting of lost souls

Matthew 24:39 (NKJV)
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."

Not only on this Labor day, but on every day of our labor, a great way to start the day, on our face praying, "Not my will be done this day, but Father, Your will be done today!"

John 14:26 (NKJV)
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - Life becomes a whole lot simpler when we lean on, follow, and listen to Him

Abba, Father we bow our knees and lift our arms in praise of You, we do not look to the ways of the world, we do not lean on our understanding, but daily we trust in and acknowledge You confident that You will direct our paths; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. John 1:4 - 9 (NKJV)
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

Jesus the Light of the world

John 3:19 - 21(NKJV)
"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

There is no reason to hide when Jesus is by your side

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you."

Because Jesus lives, you live also, and live forever in His presence

Abba, Father Your Son Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." 1 Corinthians 13:4 - 8a (NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

Abba, Father we love you because you first loved us (1 John 4:19), nothing can separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39); we love others just as You love us because it is Your commandment (John 13:34) and we are Your humble and obedient children; It is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

With Jesus we have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10) - With Jesus all things are possible (Mark 9:23) - With Jesus we go to heaven and live forever with Him (John 3:16 and John 14:6) - Without Jesus we can do nothing (John 15:5) - It seems to be such a simple choice

John 14:16 & 17 (NKJV)
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

Our Holy Spirit - Our constant Companion as we journey trough life on this earth - He guides us in all truth (John 16:13)

Abba, Father You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20), may we be teachable, may we be receptive, may we be attentive, may we be humble, may we may be obedient, may we look to You, and may we know the fullness of You; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, our Provider, our Protector, and our Healer that we rejoice and
pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:10 -12 (NKJV)
To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Hebrews 4:14 - 16 (NKJV)
Seeing that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Abba, Father this is the confidence that we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And we know if You hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You (1 John 5:14 & 15), and we know that it is our faith that pleases You, we know who You are, we know that You able, and we know that You reward us because we seek You with diligence (Hebrews 11:6); it is the name of our Lord, our Savior, our Protector, our Provider, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast our the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

"He Himself took on our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. (Hebrews 13:8)

Mark 6:53 - 56 (NKJV)
When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, ran through the whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the market places, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.

If you need healing in your life - spiritual and/or physical - do this:

1. Recognize Jesus as your Healer
2. Reach out and embrace Him as your Lord and your Savior

Luke 4:40 & 41 (NKJV)
When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And He rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

Jesus Healed - Jesus Heals - Jesus will Heal you

Abba, Father You are the LORD our God who heals us (Exodus 15:26 and Revelation 21:4), throughout His earthly ministry Your Son Jesus Christ was obedient to Your voice and Healed all, may we be obedient to His voice, the works that He did on this earth, let us do today (John 14:12); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Samuel 30:6 (NKJV)
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

When things are going well it is easy to call on God, but David's world was suddenly turned upside down and  he had to dig deep within himself and gather the strength to call upon His Father God; David was able to do this because from his youth he had systematically built a strong spiritual base within himself, the lion, the bear, the giant and on an on, David knew God's name and David daily set his love upon His Father (Psalm 91:14 - 16), David knew that there was only one place to look for help in times of trouble and that was UP! Read the rest of 1 Samuel 30 and you will discover as did David that your Father God is your ever present help in times of trouble

Daniel 3:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, " O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.

In John 3:16 gives you and all who believe in Him a promise of everlasting life; just as did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, today and every day we must chose to worship the one true God, our Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit

Daniel 3:25 (NKJV)
"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

In Matthew 28:20 Jesus tells us, "I am with you always" and in Matthew 14:31 Jesus questions Peter, "Why did you doubt?" - In good times and bad times our purpose must be to always look up, never doubting, confident that Jesus is always with us, always our Lord, and always our Savior

Abba, Father You are our helper and we will never fear, Jesus has defeated the world and all of its evil, man can do nothing to us (John 16:33 and Hebrews 13:6); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Psalm 55:16,17 & 22 (NKJV)
As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice...Cast your burdens on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

1 Peter 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)

James 4:10 (NKJV)
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Abba, Father as Your son David did let us strengthen ourselves in You (1 Samuel 30:9), and as Your Son Jesus did let us humble ourselves and pray (Matthew 26:39), and may our trust and faith always be in You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Corinthians 13:11 - 14 (NKJV)
Finally brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Abba, Father the time has come, the day is today, and the hour is now for those who call ourselves by Your name to boldly and without reservation to proclaim Your love, Your love is perfection, and Your love defeats evil today, tomorrow, and forever, let the light of Your love shine through us and shatter the darkness of this world; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray.
