JESUS

1 Peter 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Romans 8:15 & 16 (NKJV)
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

James 4:10 (NKJV)
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Ephesians 1:4 & 5 (NKJV)
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.

Abba Father what a wonderful revelation when we recognize that we are Your children and that in Your great love You gave us Jesus to seal the family relationship, may we daily with complete humility and respect appreciate that You are our Father and we can call You "Daddy"; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Romans 8:37 (NKJV)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)
So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear, what can man do to me?"

Abba Father You have delivered us from the darkness of the world by Your Son Jesus Christ, He is the light of the world and in Him we have the strength of our faith, all things are possible because we believe in You, the devil and all his evil ways is a defeated foe, we do have victory in Jesus and it is in His glorious name that we pray. Amen.

JESUS

Matthew 20:28 (NKJV)
"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

John 1:12 - 14 (NKJV)
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 4:34 (NKJV)
Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."

Abba Father how awesome it is that You gave us Jesus, who has the heart to serve, to show us Your heart, may we follow in His steps and show the world Your love; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

JESUS

Psalm 25:12 - 15 (NKJV)
Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net.

John 14:15 - 18 (NKJV)
"If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you."

John 15:11 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and your joy may be full."

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Abba Father as we move all to quickly toward Christmas Day the world will offer us many meaningless distractions, may we always remember that there is only one reason for the Christmas season and that is Jesus Christ, He gave us Your love, Your joy, Your peace, and Your forgiveness, He is light and life and the destroyer of darkness and it is in His glorious name that we pray. Amen.

ABUNDANT LIFE

Colossians 3:14 - 17 (NKJV)
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled all the fullness of God.

John 15:7 & 8 (NKJV)
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

Abba Father may we today comprehend this one thing - there is a correlation between our comprehending, speaking, and doing Your Word, Your Truth and our living life abundantly as You desire for each of us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

JESUS

Psalm 145:18 - 20 (NKJV)
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

James 4:7 - 10 (NKJV)
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Revelation 20:14 & 15 (NKJV)
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Abba Father as we begin this most busy season in our lives may our eyes never leave our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Giver of life eternal, the Promisor of life abundant, and may His joy, His peace, His love, and His forgiveness be evident in all that we do; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Psalm 100:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Colossians 4:2 (NKJV)
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.

Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Abba Father we are so very thankful that You are our Father and that You are able, all things are possible when we believe in You, may this be the day that we receive revelation that Your awesome ability is activated and manifested in our lives when we simply believe in and trust in our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; it is in His glorious name that we thankfully pray. Amen.

NO WORRY

Psalm 37:1 - 5 (NKJV)
Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Mark 11:22 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God."

John 15:7 & 8 (NKJV)
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

Abba Father our delight is in You, we are so very thankful that we can come boldly before You in time of need confident that You will provide, weapons of the world may form against us but we are not afraid because our trust is in You, dark storm clouds may be on the horizon but we have no fear because the light of Your love comes shinning through, our faith is in You because we have Jesus who came that we might have life and have it abundantly; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 & 24 (NKJV)

Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1:19 - 22 (NKJV)
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in you mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight.

Abba Father it is not who we were but who we have become in Christ, it is not what we have done but what He has done for us, we have been called to a higher purpose, a purpose that can only be fulfilled by our total acceptance of our Risen Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Oh the glory of the Cross, may we always remember; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.

Blessed is the man who endures temptations; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

Psalm 31:1 - 3 (NKJV)
In you, O LORD, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me, delver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me. For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for Your name's sake, lead me and guide me.

Psalm 32:10 & 11 (NKJV)
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Matthew 8:7 (NKJV)
And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."

Matthew 14:14 (NKJV)
And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Matthew 15:36 (NKJV)
And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.

Mark 11:22 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God."

HOLY SPIRIT

Jude 20 (NKJV)
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak and He will tell you things to come."

Romans 8:26 (NKJV)
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

1 Corinthians 14: 2 & 4 (NKJV)
For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries...He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Abba Father thank You for Your Holy Spirit who daily guides us, instructs, and reveals to us Your Truth; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

ONE THING

Philippians 3:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:12 - 14 (NKJV)
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long suffering; bearing with one another and forgiving one another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

John 13:34 & 35 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I give to you that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Abba Father may we daily seek You and Your righteousness, may our past be forgotten as we press toward Your call on our lives, and may Your love and Your forgiveness be evident in all that we do; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

FAMILY

Romans 8:15 - 17 (NKJV)
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified with Him.;

Galatians 4:4 - 7 (NKJV)
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Abba Father - ADOPTED - what a beautiful word - You loved us so much that you gave Your Son so that we could be Your children - adopted into Your family, heirs to Your kingdom, a part of Your Royal Family; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Peter 3:10 - 12 (NKJV)
For he would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

November 16, 2013

Psalm 27:5 & 6 (NKJV)
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me. Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Psalm 12:6 (NKJV)
The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

John 1:1 - 4 (NKJV)
In the beginning as the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Abba Father Your Word is truth, all else is fiction, all else is senseless noise, in Your Son we have life, in Him we have love, in Him we have forgiveness, in Him we have peace, and in Him we have joy, You are our Father, we are Your children, we are family forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Psalm 34:19 (NKJV)
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith.

Abba Father we will not fear, how comforting it is that in You there is always victory, no matter what the world throws our way, You stand with us, our protective covering; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28 - 30 (NKJV)
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Abba Father let us stretch our faith, let us seek You daily, let us fully come to know You, for You have promised to always be with us, You are our help in times of need, let us never question that when we call You will answer, it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray.
