1 Corinthians 6:17 - 20 (NKJV)
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and your are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

You have made Jesus the Lord of your life, you and Jesus have a kindred spirit, the Holy Spirit resides in you, you are an adopted child of God, a joint heir with Jesus to His kingdom, a royal priest in His kingdom, what you say and do reflects directly upon Him, let your light penetrate the darkness of the world so that others will be drawn to Jesus, be a positive influence on the world around you.

Abba, Father may the love, forgiveness, joy, and peace of Jesus always be evident in our lives; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Peter 1:20 - 23 (NKJV)
He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Ephesians 1:3 - 6 (NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Before time began God had a wonderful plan and that plan was you and Jesus, family forever.

Abba, Father our words fail when we try to fully grasp the wonder of Your love, but we rejoice daily and sing Your praise, forever sealed by Jesus, Your family forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 14:16 & 17 (NKJV)
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

Jesus prays to our Father and He responds by giving us a Helper who abides with us forever, who is always with us and forever within us - should we not speak with Him often, after all, our Father desires that we receive His help

John 14:26 (NKJV)
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you things to come."

The Holy Spirit, our Helper, our Teacher, our Guide, our own personal Prophet, daily reveals to us one thing and one thing only, God's pure truth - would we not be wise to listen

Abba, Father may our eyes be wide open, may our ears be receptive to the sound of Your voice, may our spirit be teachable, and may our lives daily reveal Your truth to the world around us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Psalm 145:14 (NKJV)
The LORD upholds all who fall, and raises up all who bowed down.

Jude 24 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

Luke 10:41 & 42 (NKJV)
And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

In John 10:10 Jesus draws a line in the sand and makes it crystal clear that following Him is our first and only choice, "I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly;" any and all choices that fall short of making Jesus the Lord of your life open up the opportunity for the devil - to steal your peace, to kill your joy, and to destroy not only your life, but the life's of those around you; make the clear choice today - choose Jesus all day, ever day

Abba, Father may we each day and everyday choose to do Your will and to finish Your work confident in the knowledge that Your greatest desire is to help us stay upright, moving forward toward You, doing Your work and providing for our every need (John 4:34); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You.

Psalm 119:165 (NKJV)
Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

We live in perilous times where evil seems to come at us from every direction, but in the midst of darkness a Light shines brightly and His name is Jesus Christ (John 8:12).

"The Anchor holds in the midst of the storm!"

Abba, Father You did not create us in Your image and Your likeness to be torn apart by the evils of this world (Genesis 1:26), but rather we were called to be more than conquerors through Your love for us (Romans 8:37); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Anchor Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Jeremiah 29:11 - 13 (NKJV)
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the LORD, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then, you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for  Me with all your heart."

Romans 8:28 - 30 (NKJV)
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called, whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these he also glorified.

We have been called to be with Jesus, to be known by His name, to follow in His steps, to inherit His kingdom, and to be with Him forever.

Abba, Father what a glorious plan You have put forth, created in Your image and Your likeness, we who went astray, returned by Your love and conformed to the image of Jesus, forever to be righteous in Your sight; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Matthew 11:28 - 30 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
I can do all things trough Christ who strengthens me.

It is never about what we can do in our own strength, but rather what He can do in us, with us, and through us.

Abba, Father we bow our knees before You, with arms uplifted we sing Your praise, You are our Father and in You we place our trust, all things are possible in Your strength, there is victory in Jesus and in His glorious name we pray today. Amen.

Matthew 22:37 - 40 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "Your shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, this is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

John 13:34 & 35 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Jesus did not request that we love others, that we walk in the love of our Lord and Savior, He commanded that we love one another as He loves us, make this day your day of obedience, see those around you as Jesus sees you, as the Apostle John so eloquently stated, "I am the one Jesus loves!"

Abba, Father we love You because You first loved us (1 John 4:19) and we will love others as You have loved us because it is Your commandment; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Two men in my life made the following statements which have always stuck with me:

There is no neutral position in the above scripture, if you are not continually renewing your mind with God's Word then you are by default conforming to the world.

Have a teachable spirit, we must always be open to learn, to continually grow stronger in God's teaching, as Paul said in Philippians 3:14 - I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Abba, Father, Jesus said, "Follow!" and follow we must, that Your will be fulfilled in the life's of Your children; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 15:5 & 6 (NKJV)
Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3 John 2 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Philippians 2:5 - 7 (NKJV)
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness of men.

Jesus commanded us to "Follow," embodied in that command was His emotions; love, forgiveness, joy, and peace; His thoughts, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness; and His will, obedience to the voice of our Father.

Abba, Father we are Your humble and obedient children, may our ears always be open to the sound of Your voice; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Luke 18:27 (NKJV)
But He said, "The things that are impossible with men are possible with God."

Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Psalm 118:8 (NKJV)
It is better to put trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Our Father is "ABLE" nothing is too big or too hard for Him, come boldly before His throne of grace, give Him all your cares and concerns, in all things by prayer make your requests known to Him, confident that He love you and His greatest joy is to help you successfully complete your earthly journey and be in His presence forever.

Abba, Father You are able and all things are possible with You, may our faith be stretched that we know the fullness of You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 Peter 1:2 - 4 (NKJV)
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

A dear friend of mine often says, "We win or lose by the way we choose!" Make a choice today to spend time getting to know God, embrace His promise to you of abundant life, soak in His never ending love and forgiveness, acknowledge His commandments and strive to be obedient to His word; after all, He is your Father and you are His beloved child.

Abba, Father by Your grace we are Your family, set apart from the world, called to be royalty, forever joint heirs with Jesus; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5 & 6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

If our Father, the Creator of all we know, who loves us without condition, who gave us Jesus who commanded us to "Follow!", promises each of us that He will direct every step of our lives as He walks beside us, what in this world would ever cause us to worry.

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus, we receive His peace, His joy, His love, and His forgiveness, with head held high, with confidence in our step, we face this world knowing that in You victory is assured; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Colossians 1:13 & 14 (NKJV)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV)
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

What can take our sins away, nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Abba, Father what we could not do for ourselves You did with Jesus, we are righteous in Your sight, Your beloved children, family forever; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 John 5:14 & 15 (NKJV)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

How do we know that when we pray we are asking according to God's will for our lives, one sure fire way is to always align your request with scripture, but then that would require that we spend time each day reading, studying, and meditating on God's Word, not a bad idea.

Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)
This Book of the Law shall not depart from you mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.

Abba, Father you have given us Your Word filled with Your instruction and Your promise, may we daily spend time soaking in Your truth, may Your words be our words and fill our heart to overflowing, may Your peace be our peace, may Your joy be our joy, and may Your love and forgiveness be evident in all that we do; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 John 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)
This is He who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

John 1:1 - 4 (NKJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

There is a remedy for all the ills of the world and His name is Jesus Christ - always has been and always will be

Abba, Father You created us in Your image and in Your likeness, a family like no other, to share His light with the world; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

 Revelation 21:2 & 4 (NKJV)
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Abba, Father no matter what the world throws our way we will continually proclaim, "We are not moved by the world!", the eyes of our understanding forever fixed on Your eternal promise, Jesus our Lord, Jesus our Savior (Ephesians 1:18 & 19, 1 John 5:4 & 5); it is in His glorious name that we pray. Amen.

Matthew 10:7 & 8 *NKJV)
"And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

Jesus issued the above instructions to the 12 Apostles; however, the same instruction applies to each of us that have made Jesus our Lord and our Savior, we did not pay for our salvation it is a gift of God (Ephesians 2:8) and we should freely share His love, forgiveness, grace, mercy, provision, protection, and healing with others (John 10:10).

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus who came that we who believe would have life and life abundantly and we, as Your obedient children, must share that abundant life with others; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Matthew 9:35 (NKJV)
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Why did Jesus heal every sickness and every disease among the people, because His Father told him to! (John 4:34)

Abba, Father because of Your great love for the world You sent us Jesus to show us the way, to tell us the truth, and to give us life (John 3:16 and John 14:8); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:19 & 20 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

The power to activate change in our lives comes from within us; Jesus prayed to our Father that He give us a Helper (the Holy Spirit) who would be with us forever, the Spirit of Truth, who guides on in all truth (John 14:16 & 17 and John 16:13); if you want to see change in your life, take your eyes off the problems and focus on the love our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has for you - Know the fullness of God, our Father.

Abba, Father may we know the Fullness of Your love for us; You are Able, to provide, protect, and to heal; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
