Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 12:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Faith is a peculiar and often misunderstood and misused word, a word that for each of us is worthy of self examination; in our personal relationships are we influenced by people around us or do we accept and walk in His love, His forgiveness, His joy, and His peace; and in our business relationships is all of our conversation and our attention focused on fellow employees, vendors, and customers or do we go boldly before His throne and have a conversation with our Father who makes ways where we can see no way; all day and every day we can choose to believe and that is what pleases our Father and that is what makes us a person of faith.

Abba, Father may we be more like Jesus and simply say, "My _____ is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to finish His work." (John 4:34); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
