God's Promises for You

November 5, 2015

Ephesians 6:10 - 12 (NKJV)
Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Jesus said,  "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10); He said, "My peace I give to you." (John 14:27); and He said, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." (John 15:11)

Jesus said, "It is the thief, the liar, the deceiver, the defeated one, the powerless one, the one who can do absolutely nothing without your agreement, that comes to steal your peace, to kill your joy, and to destroy you and all around you. (John 10:10)

Galatians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

The Apostle Paul wrote these words, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6 & 7)

And the Apostle Peter wrote these words, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6 & 7)

Abba, Father a new commandment You have given us, that we love one another; as You have loved us, that we also love one another and by this all will know that we are disciples of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus in whose glorious name we rejoice and pray. Amen.
