Luke 11:9 (NKJV)"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

John 14:14 (NKJV)
"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

The above words are the words of Jesus and we know that is words are the pure truth; often I believe we over complicate things and miss the simple truth, Jesus wants the best for each and every one of us; after all, God is our Father

True Story

A man and his wife, had two sons, one was 4 years old and the other was 2 years old; the man and his wife were both godly people, leaders of their church, who read, studied and meditated on God's word daily.  The 4 year old son became very ill and was running a high fever, the man and his wife attended to the son with medicine designed to break the fever, cold towels, and constant prayer and quoting of scripture.  For two days this continued to no avail as the fever remained unbroken and during this time sat quietly on his bed watching as his parents cared for his older brother; and then the 2 year old climbed down from his bed and walked over to his older brother and placed his little hand on the fever racked forehead of his older brother and said these words, "In the name of Jesus heal my brother!" and instantly the fever broke.

Abba Father I often pray that we might stretch our faith to encompass the fullness of You, but this morning I ask that we simply accept You with the faith of a child, with minds uncluttered by the junk of this world and simply believe because Jesus said it; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
