God's Promises for You

June 20, 2016

1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

James 1:2 - 4 (NKJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Philippians 4:4 - 7 (NKJV)
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice! Let your gentleness be know to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

John 15:11 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."

Abba, Father thank You for Your Holy Spirit who guides us in Your truth and tells us of things to come, may we never be impacted by the noise of the world, but rather be led  by Your promise that is manifested in Your Son Jesus Christ and may our hearts overflow daily with the precious gifts of His peace and His joy; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
