Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all people. And the Lord added daily to the church those who were being saved.
 
Abba, Father You are long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9); may we Your humble, obedient, and beloved children draw many to Your family so that all will be counted on that final judgement day (Revelation 20:15); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray.
