Galatians 5:22 - 25 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
A great exercise for each of us to do daily is to stand before the mirror and proclaim these words, "I may not be who I want to be, but thanks You Jesus, I am not who I used to be, and in Your strength (Philippians 4:13) it is possible for me to become who You called me to be."
Abba, Father thank You for Jesus who receives great and exceeding joy from His ability to keep us from stumbling in life and present us to You faultless at the end of our earthly journey (Jude 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
