Daniel 3:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Each of us, each day, have our faith tested, for some our faith is stretched to the max as we stare down crippling and deadly diseases, others meet head on the death of their mortal body as they face a rope, a bullet, or a sword, and for many it is as simple as refusing to listen to an off color joke or remaining quiet when someone takes the name of our Lord in vain

Jesus set the bar high for us when He proclaimed

Luke 22:41 & 42 (NKJV)
And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, "Father, if it is Your will take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will but Yours, be done."

Our faith must be that God's promise is forever and we will forever be with Him, His children, His family, whom He loves

And His promise is to always be by our side

Daniel 3:25 (NKJV)
"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

Abba, Father as King David taught us to pray, our trust our faith must always be in You and You will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5 & 6); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
