Psalm 18:28 - 36 & 46 (NKJV)
For You will light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? and who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip...The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
 
 
John 1:1 - 5 & 9 - 13 (NKJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it...That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made though Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
 
 
John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
 
 
Abba Father may we and all we know this day come to know the saving knowledge of Your Son Jesus Christ, may all of us confess this day that He is Your Son, that He is our Lord and He is our Savior and that He is the giver of life, of life in abundance, and of life eternal. He is the Light of the world, He is the destroyer of darkness and evil, and nothing is impossible for those who believe in Him. It is in His glorious name that we pray. Amen.
