God's Promises for You

December 14, 2015

Matthew 6:9 & 10 (NKJV)
"In this manner, therefore pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

We are God's family - Jesus makes that known when He instructs to pray to "Our Father" joint heirs with Jesus to God's kingdom

Psalm 23:1 & 2 (NKJV)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

As our Father, God meets every possible need we have in life, He is our Guide, He makes the rough roads smooth and the impossible possible

Matthew 6:11 & 12 (NKJV)
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Our Father provides for our every need, forgiveness is not an option for Him, He loves us in spite of us

Psalm 23:3 & 4 (NKJV)
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.

Our Father gives us life and life more abundantly, we are righteous in His sight because He sees Jesus in us, He tells us daily "Have no fear, be not afraid, I stand, rock solid, between you and the evils of this world."

Matthew 6:13 (NKJV)
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Our Father is the truth, He is our safe harbor, He is the light that shatters the darkness of this world, and His promise is to always be by our side, He is all power, He is the upward call on our lives, and He is forever our Father

Psalm 23:5 & 6 (NKJV)
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

The issues of this life will fade away, but the Promise from our Father is unchanging, "Come be My child, take My love, take My forgiveness, take My peace, and take My joy and live with Me forever"

And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: they need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever (Revelation 22:3 - 5); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
