1 Peter 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Hebrews 13:5b & 6 (NKJV)
For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So that we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Psalm 91:14 - 16 (NKJV)
"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him, and show him My salvation."

Develop an intimate relationship with God your Father, understand and embrace His love for you, stretch your faith and allow the fullness of God to surround you (Ephesians 3:19)

Abba Father Your love for us knows no boundary, may we day by day grow in the understanding and fullness of Your love for us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 John 6 (NKJV)
This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

John 14:15 (NKJV)
"If you love Me, keep My commandments."

John 13:34 & 35 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

1 John 4:9 - 11 (NKJV)
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Jesus is LOVE - walk in His love - your journey on this earth will be much more enjoyable

Abba Father Your love for us trumps the world and all of its evil, may each and every day Your love be seen in us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Luke 17:12 - 19 (NKJV)
Then as He entered a certain village there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. You are never too far away from God to call upon Him and know that He will hear you. And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy upon us!" Master, understanding who God is, is a positive step in getting answers to prayer. So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. Obedience overcomes doubt and fear and leads to healing. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. Going before God with a humble and thankful heart is always beneficial, every day is a good day to lay our cares at the foot of the cross. So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" And He said to him, "Arise go your way. Your faith has made you well." His obedience healed him and his faith made him complete and well before God.

Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Abba Father today and everyday we sing Your praises, with humble, obedient, and thankful hearts we lay our cares before you, confident in Your answer; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Jude 20 & 21 (NKJV)
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

1 John 5:11 & 12 (NKJV)
And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, and this life is in His Son.

Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV)
To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

John 10:10b (NKJV)
"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

What could possibly be more abundant than knowing that we are in the presence of  our Lord Jesus Christ today, tomorrow, and forever, totally immersed in His love, experiencing the complete fullness of God - Absolutely Nothing!

Abba Father You have given us Jesus and He brings to us life forever with You, may we each day from this day forward know the fullness of You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Hebrews 7:24 & 25 (NKJV)
But He because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

1 John 2:1 & 2 (NKJV)
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the whole world.

For those who have made Jesus the Lord of your life, these are comforting thoughts. As you face the world today and for many tomorrows know this, He who lives within you is far greater than anyone or anything the world has to offer, and He promises to walk with you through life forever. Choose Jesus, everyone and everything else fails by comparison.

Abba Father You have given us the greatest gift ever, Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior, and it is in His glorious name we will forever pray and sing Your praises. Amen.

Psalm 23:1 - 3 (NKJV)
The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God is our Source for our every need

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Lie down, curl up, rest your head upon His shoulder

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus keeps us from stumbling

Abba Father You are ABLE (Ephesians 3:20), You are PEACE (John 14:27), and You keep us UPRIGHT before You (Jude 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 20:19 - 22 (NKJV)
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were  assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you." When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit."

When our eyes are fixed on Jesus and not on the circumstances that surround us there is no fear but rather the peace of Jesus and the strength to overcome empowered by His Spirit, to be all that He has called us to be

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the  world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

John 14:16 & 17 (NKJV)
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

Abba Father You have equipped us to do Your work, may our faith remain strong, all things are possible when we believe in You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Peter 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Humble yourself, give your cares and concerns, big or little, to God, He cares deeply for you

James 4:10 (NKJV)
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Your Father loves you, He wants you to have His best

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let you request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Lay your concerns at the foot of the cross, Jesus is the remedy for each and every one

James 1:2 - 4 (NKJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Have a humble spirit, Have a thankful heart, Have faith in God, Have the joy and peace of Jesus, Have Jesus that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing

Abba Father may we know the love of Jesus so that we will be filled with the fullness of You (Ephesians 3:19); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 53:10 - 12 (NKJV)
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Redeemed - Justified - Interceded For - When He was on the cross, we were on His mind

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We do not need a holiday to remember what Jesus did for us, we need to remember Him daily and honor Him with our obedience

Abba Father may our daily walk be worthy of You and fully pleasing to You (Colossians 1:10); it is in the name of our Risen Lord and Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

He is Risen

April 19, 2014

Luke 24:3 - 7 (NKJV)
Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.' "

John 20:11 - 16 (NKJV)
But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, "Woman, why are your weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him." Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away." Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (Teacher)

Although the words vary in all four gospels, there is one constant truth, one grand and glorious truth, "Jesus is Risen!" He is alive, He is seated at the right hand of God our Father, He is with us always, He is our advocate, He does continually intercede on our behalf, He both loves and forgives us without condition, He is the remedy to every issue of life, He overcame so that we could overcome, we can do all things in His strength, nothing is impossible when we believe in Him, and when we believe in Him we are assured of being with Him forever

Abba Father on bended knee and armed raised high we sing Your praise for giving us Jesus, our Risen Lord and Savior; it is His glorious name that we pray. Amen.

Colossians 2:6 & 7 (NKJV)
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established by faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Dig deep into the spoken and written words of God, allow the seeds of His promise to be firmly planted in your heart, stretch your faith so that you are rooted securely in the love of Jesus

Ephesians 3:17 - 19 (NKJV)
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Be grounded firmly in the love of Jesus which takes us far beyond the limits of our human thoughts so that we will experience the fullness of God

John 19:30 (NKJV)
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus said, "It is finished!"

God said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17)

Revelation 20:3 & 4 (NKJV)
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, " Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Abba Father Your Son Jesus loves me, this I know, because Your Word tells me so; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that I pray. Amen.

Mark 16:1 - 7 (NKJV)
Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome brought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. And they said to themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away - for it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side and they were alarmed. But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus or Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples - and Peter - that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."

For all of us "Peter's" in the world, we serve a Savior who is risen, He is love, He is forgiveness, He is our Lord.

Abba Father You gave us Jesus and He defeated the world (John 16:33) and because we believe in Him we also overcome the world (1 John 5:5); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Matthew 28:5 - 8 (NKJV)
But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.  Come see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold I have told you." So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

As we approach Easter, pause for a moment, No!, pause for many moments to rejoice that we have a Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Abba Father You gave us Jesus to show us the way, to teach us Your will, and to walk side by side on our earthly journey, and to present us faultless before You at the completion of our journey (Jude 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Colossians 3:15 - 17 (NKJV)
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word and deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

1Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Abba Father you are our Father, we are Your adopted children, joint heirs with Jesus (Ephesians 1:5 and Romans 8:17), we will be thankful in all things; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Psalm 4:8 (NKJV)
I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 91:2 & 11 (NKJV)
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust."...For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Abba Father our trust is in You, You promise to always be with us (Matthew 28:20 & Joshua 1:9), we will not be in fear but rather confident in You we move forward our eyes firmly upon Your eternal promise, Your joy in our heart; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Philippians 3:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Purpose yourself each day to think on the magnificence of God, you are His child and He is able to give you exceedingly and abundantly more that you can ever think or ask (Ephesians 3:20)

Matthew 6:27 (NKJV)
"Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"

Jesus puts it quite simply - Stop Worrying! With Me you have a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11)

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Jesus further says - Give me all your cares because I care about you, curl up with Me, lay your head upon My shoulder and rest and I will give you many, many wonderful tomorrows (1 Peter 5:7)

Abba Father with You our tomorrows are forever, our future is Your love and our hope is Your forgiveness; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:6 (NKJV)
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

3 John 2 (NKJV)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Your soul is your mind, your emotions, and your will, feed daily on God's Word, His Truth, let your thoughts be His thoughts, your words be His words, your emotions be His emotions, and your will His will

Galatians 5:16 & 17 (NKJV)
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

John 10:10 (NKJV)
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

The devil wants to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your life, Jesus gives you His peace, He gives you His joy, and He gives you life abundantly and eternally

Abba Father we are not conformed to this world but rather we are transformed by the renewing of our minds as we daily feast upon Your truth (Romans 12:2); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 2:1 - 10 (NKJV)
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works; lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Luke 15:24 (NKJV)
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry.

Alive and found because of His great love, saved by His grace, His workmanship, created for good works, God desires our lives to be a celebration of His love

Abba Father. Jesus, a wonderful expression of Your great love, may our lives be a testimony of Your love, may the joy of Jesus be on our lips and may the peace of Jesus be in our hearts; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Peter 3:8 & 9 (NKJV)
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be  courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

God says to us, bless others with your love, show them the tenderness of your heart and your compassion for them

Colossians 2:13 & 14 (NKJV)
And you being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

Look at how He blessed us, how much He loves us, and how much He wants us to be in right relationship with Him

Abba Father You gave Your Son, the final sacrifice; He said, "It is finished!" (John 19:30), so that we could go from darkness into the Light of Your Love, forgiven forever, may Your love always be visible in us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Jesus gives you peace, He does not promise you a stroll on easy street, but He does promise you that in His strength you can deal with life with peace in your heart and a smile on your face

2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NKJV)
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Jesus gives you peace, all day, every day

Ephesians 3:14 - 20 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Abba Father Your love is without question, You are able, You will make a way where we can see no way, Your Son Jesus is the Remedy to every issue of life on this earth, and we are empowered to overcome by Your Holy Spirit who dwells in us and works in us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
