Colossians 2:6 & 7 (NKJV)
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in faith, as you have been taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Instructions from the Apostle Paul - a good recipe for success in life

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Walk in Him - Walk with Him

Abba, Father as we journey through life may Jesus be seen in all we say and do; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Matthew 11:28 - 30 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Jesus Promises to give us rest, He promises to teach us the truth, and He promises that following Him is not difficult

1 John 5:2 - 5 (NKJV)
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

John confirms that walking in the love of Jesus, obediently following His directions is not difficult and gives us this wonderful promise that we by the exercise of our faith - our belief that Jesus is the Son of God - overcome the world and all of its evil

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus and a life filled with promise - for us that believe in Him there is life filled with victory - life abundant and life forever in Your presence; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

John 16:33 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace, in the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Some days it is very helpful to just go and read the Words of Jesus, rest assured bitterness, anger, and frustration are not His desire for you - Jesus is all about love, forgiveness, joy and peace

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus and He is the peace that surpasses our understanding (Philippians 4:7), may we just simply believe Him with child like faith; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen

John 1:14 (NKJV)
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

Jesus is the truth, His words are truth, everything about Jesus is purposed to guide us in truth - no wonder His initial request of us was simply - "Follow Me!"

One time I was having breakfast with an old friend and he grabbed his bible, held it high above his head, and proclaimed, "This is the truth, everything else is just senseless noise."

You will never be wrong when you simply speak His words

Abba, Father Your Son spoke these words, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you," (John 15:7); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 6:35 (NKJV)
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Come to Jesus and He will give you comfort (Matthew 11:28) and Follow Jesus and He will give you life in abundance (John 10:10)

Abba, Father when life has got us down there is only one solution and that is to look up - Jesus will always be there; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Hebrews 1:1 - 4 (NKJV)
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Philippians 2:9 - 11 (NKJV)
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus the Son of God - Jesus heir to God's kingdom - Jesus the maker of our world - Jesus who sits at the right hand of God - Jesus the name above all names

And we have been chosen by God, adopted into His family and made joint heirs with Jesus (Romans 8:15 - 17 and Ephesians 1:4 & 5)

We are the good pleasure of His will (Ephesians 1:5)

Abba, Father how blessed we are to be Your beloved children, joint heirs with Jesus, purposed by You to be a holy priesthood (1 Peter 2:9); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 John 5:11 - 13 (NKJV)
And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

God's Promises for You are forever, because we believe in Jesus we have His Holy Spirit who guides us in all truth and tells us of things to come (John 16:13), our vision does not have to be clouded with what see today but rather it is clear with what we know to be true in our future - Forever in His presence

Abba, Father You have given us Jesus, in Him is life (John 1:4), He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), He is life and life more abundantly (John 10:10) and He is life everlasting (John 3:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

John 14:27 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

No fear our Father is near (James 4:8)

Jesus the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8)

Abba, Father You who are in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we can do all things through Jesus who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 16:22 - 24 (NKJV)
"Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

John 14:12 - 14 (NKJV)
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Jesus says, "Most assuredly, I say to you!" That is an attention grabber, a positive statement, a power statement that is meant to be life changing - Jesus sees us the way God sees us - He sees Himself in us - Fully able to do all things in His strength - Nothing is impossible because we believe - Able to fulfill God's purpose for our lives - The righteousness of God in Him

Unfortunately for all to many we see ourselves the way the world sees us - Beaten, downtrodden, easy prey for the evil of this world

Understand this - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit love you - You are Family - Their will is to provide you with Their very best - They are purposed to answer your prayer

Abba, Father our faith is in You, we do not doubt, we speak boldly to the issues of life fully confident that You are the answer to each and every issue, when we pray we believe that receive that which we ask for (Mark 11:22 - 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Hebrews 12:2 tells us that Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him, Jude 24 tells us that we are that joy, and John 3:16 tells us that Jesus was a gift from our Father - We need no other reason to be thankful in all things

November 28, 2014

Colossians 3:17 (NKJV)
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Start every day giving thanks to God our Father and life will become better - the purpose of Jesus being our greatest gift from our Father is life (John 1:4), life eternal (John 3:16) and life abundant (John 10:10)

Abba, Father on this day and everyday forward on bended knee with uplifted hands we simply say "Thank You!". thank You for being our Father and thank You for being our Savior; it is in the name of Your greatest gift, our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 Timothy1:3 - 7 (NKJV)
I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I  remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and or love and of a sound mind.

There is never a time to be fearful, for you being filled with the love and joy of Jesus it is always the right time to look upon those whom God has placed in your life with thanksgiving

Psalm 100:1 - 6 (NKJV)
Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

In all things with a joy filled heart be thankful leaving all your cares, all your concerns, all your fears, every anxious moment at the foot of the cross, nothing is too insignificant for mercy and compassion of your Father and nothing is too great that it can not be swallowed up in the power of His right hand, you are His child and He loves you with the fullness of His heart

Abba, Father adopted into Your family, joint heirs with Jesus to Your kingdom, forever in Your presence, Your love and forgiveness in our hearts, we simply say, "Thanks, Dad" (Romans *:15 - 17); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

1 John 4:7 - 11 (NKJV)
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

The devil will give you many reasons to be angry, to be offended, to refuse to forgive, and to hate, but God is explicit in His instruction, we are to love one another as He has loved us and when we do all will be well

Colossians 3:12 - 15 (NKJV)
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long suffering; bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Above all put on love the bond of perfection, on this earth we are in the process of being perfected and when we allow others to see the love of Jesus in us which is perfection we appear to others to be making great progress

Abba, Father may we know the love of Jesus that we may be filled with the fullness of You (Ephesians 3:19) and may others see You in us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Hebrews 3:4 - 6 (NKJV)
For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God, and Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow m all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

What a wonderful promise - no matter what the world throws our way - we remain confident in the knowledge that we will live forever in the presence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

Abba, Father we are Your people, You will be with us and be our God (Revelation 21:3), family forever (Romans 8:15 - 17); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Lamentations 3:21 - 23 (NKJV)
This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion's fail not, they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Think on this - God loves You - God is good - He never leaves you - He never forsakes you - His compassionate mercy is available to you - All the time

Abba, Father we love you because You first loved us, You gave us Jesus so that we could become Your beloved family; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

John 4:13 & 14 (NKJV)

John 4:25 & 26 (NKJV)
The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ), "When He comes, He will tell us all things." Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am He."

Jesus gives us a wonderful promise of everlasting life, forever in the presence of our Father God and He also gives us a blueprint for abundant life here on this earth, a life filed with His love, His forgiveness, His joy, and His peace -  purpose this day to follow Him completely - speak the good news and live the good life

Abba, Father You have given us Jesus and in Him we rejoice, the problems of the world are trivial in our eyes, we overcome and we conquer because we believe that Jesus is Your Son (1 John 5:5) and we are Your beloved (Romans 8:37); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Isaiah 1:18 & 19 (NKJV)

Psalm 103:11 & 12 (NKJV)
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Abba, Father by Your grace we have been saved, by Your love we have been forgiven and made righteous, and by Your Son we have been made family; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 Corinthians 9:7 & 8 (NKJV)
So let each one of us give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for all good work.

Ephesians 2:4 - 7 (NKJV)
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:19 & 20 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Jesus loves us, He gave Himself for us, mercy and kindness are part of His love and the more we comprehend His love the more His fullness is revealed to us and we can receive all that He is able to do in our lives which is ALL

Abba, Father You are able to supply our every need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19) and we can come boldly before Your throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, our Healer, our Provider, and our Protector Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Mark 11:22 & 23 (NKJV)
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast in the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

Abba, Father help our unbelief, help us to be strong in our heart, to keep out the doubts the world throws our way, so that our faith will be pleasing to You, so that we will know and understand who You are, confident and assured that we daily receive Your rewards as we diligently seek You," (Hebrews 11:6); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Acts 10:34 - 46 (NKJV)
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ - He is Lord of all - that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after baptism which John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging Him on a tree. Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.

God is Father of all who hear and believe, Jesus is the Savior and Healer of all who hear and believe, and His Holy Spirit dwells within all who hear and believe - we are His beloved family and that is His truth

Abba, Father daily we sing Your praises, Your children, Your family, forever; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
