Matthew 10:37 - 39 (NKJV)
"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."

Jesus gets down with us, we are not to place anything or anyone above our relationship with Him, the stronger our relationship with Him, the stronger our relationship will be with others, but Jesus must always remain the center of our lives

2 Corinthians 5:17 - 21 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us a ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Because we believe in Jesus,  because we stand on God's word, because we are filled with His Holy Spirit, we are Him and His desire for us is for others to see Him in us

Abba, Father Your Apostle Paul said he had learned to be content no matter the worldly circumstances of life and then he said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:11 - 13), it is never us but always Him in us that glorifies You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
