1 Samuel 26:23 & 24 (NKJV)
May the LORD repay every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered you into my hand today, but I would not stretch out my hand against the LORD's anointed. And indeed, as your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the LORD, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.

Saul had vowed to kill David and David had the opportunity to kill Saul, but instead he choose to honor God and allow God to be the righteous judge.

Peter had this to say about Jesus:

1 Peter 2:23 & 24 (NKJV)
Who when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.

We have a Father who heals us from the inside out, He gives us His joy and His peace, He loves us and forgives us without question and adopts as His children, He walks with us in our earthly journey His protective right arm always on our shoulder, all things are possible in His strength, never do we have a need to seek revenge or retaliate

1 Peter 1:18 & 19 (NKJV)
Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Jesus who said, "Not as I will, but as You will."

2 Timothy 2:11 & 12 (NKJV)
This a faithful saying: For if we died with Him we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we will also reign with Him.

His promise is good, His promise is truth, and His promise is forever

Abba, Father we believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, we believe that He was crucified, dead, and buried, the perfect sacrifice that redeemed us from the darkness of the world, we believe that He was without sin and was made to be sin so that we would be righteous in Your sight, we believe that Your Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead, that He lives and sits in heaven at Your right hand to rule forever, He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, He is the name above all names, the name to which all knees will bow and all tongues will confess, we believe He is our Savior, He is Lord of all, we believe that through Him we have life, life abundant, and life forever, and we believe we are Your children, forever Your family; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
