1 Corinthians 15:57 & 58 (NKJV)
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
 
1 Corinthians 16:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong. Let all you do be done with love.
 
There is a beautiful gospel song about Jesus on the Cross that contains these words, "He knew me, yet He loved me!"
 
Jesus the perfect sacrifice, Jesus our Deliverer, Jesus our Redeemer, Jesus our Risen Lord, Jesus our Risen Savior
 
Abba, Father You so loved us that You gave us Jesus, that we who believe in Him would not perish but would live forever with You (John 3:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
