God's Promises for You

June 6, 2016

Luke 6: 37 & 38 (NKJV)
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

On the road to Damascus, Saul the persecutor of the early Christians was knocked to the ground by the Light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and from this position he looked upward and asked this question, "Lord, what do you want me to do?" Acts 9:6 (NKJV)

"Jesus, what would you have me to do today?" A great way for each of us to start each new day

2 Corinthians 9:6 - 8 (NKJV)
"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

In the garden of Ghethsemane on the night of His betrayal, Jesus fell on His face and prayed these words, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." Matthew 26:39 (NKJV)

Our faith and spiritual understanding both grow as we take our eyes off the world around us and simply Trust our Father

Matthew 6:32 & 33 (NKJV)
For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jesus instructs us, "Have faith in God." and then He proclaims, "Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Mark 11:22 & 24 (NKJV)

Having a teachable spirit, an obedient heart, and a deep seated desire to please your Father will enable you to be filled with the fullness of Him and enjoy all of His exceedingly abundant Promise

Abba, Father may our spiritual understanding be increased daily so that in our hearts we will know the unconditional love of Your Son Jesus Christ so that we will be filled with the fullness of You and know that You are able to provide far, far above all that we think or ask according to Your power that is within us; it is with complete humility and obedience and in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Provider Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
