Luke 1:76 - 79 (NKJV)
And you child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

The Holy Spirit inspired prophecy of Zacharias over his newborn son John the Baptist

Colossians 1:10 - 15 (NKJV)
That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Paul's prayer for the children of God, we have been delivered from the power of darkness, we are children of the Light, we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, forgiven of our sins - we are the fulfillment of the prophecy of Zacharias

Abba Father when we meditate on Your great love simple words fail to convey the awesomeness of belonging to You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
