William King

William King   A Paradigm shift is a fundamental change in worldview as a result of new information. My background includes the student youth movement of the 1960's where I was the first student in Minnesota to protest against the Vietnam War; I wrote a paper that led my college to be the first in the country to abolish women’s dormitory hours, started a local chapter of Students for a Democratic Society, and I dodged the draft into Canada. I didn't know it at the time, but that was the beginning of my paradigm shift.

On my second night in Canada, I went to hear the new Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau. Most of what he said was typical politician-speak, but there was one mysterious sentence that caught my ear. He said his time as Prime Minister would “turn the world irrevocably in the direction of a cashless economy.” I didn’t understand. Was everything going to be free? Was he talking about some kind of socialism? What was a cashless economy? Today we all know, but in June of 1968 there were no personal computers or barcodes on the groceries. Yet the people who were planning what we see now had placed Pierre in charge of the wealthiest country in the British Empire, the wealthiest country in the French Empire, half of North America with long common borders with the two most powerful countries in the world.

Seven years passed and I became the president of Rochdale College – the largest “free university” in North America. Rochdale had 1000 hippies with an average age of 21 living and loving in an 18 story high-rise community as a democratically run co-op. From 1969 to 1972 virtually all of the hashish in North America flowed through Rochdale. The dealers called it “the house that hash built” but it was also an incredible educational experience – full of life and very interesting people. Our security guards once counted 28,000 visitors in a four day week-end (they didn’t count residents or people they recognized).

In the summer of 1975, as the Canadian government was evicting us all from Rochdale, I walked into a bank and saw my first ATM machine – it was called “Milly the Tilly”. That night I dreamed I was talking on a payphone when I was suddenly surrounded by men in uniform who had tracked me down because the global computer system told them the guy they were looking for was in that phone booth – he had just paid for a call. The next morning I began advising friends to go back to the land, grow their own food, and get their energy from the wind, sun, and running water because in order to live free we would have to live without what the world calls money. A kid on the 16th floor had built a wind generator that could get enough energy for a normal American home out of a seven mile per hour wind using helicopter blades and a generator from the GE catalog – it never got into production but it did get into the Ontario science Museum and it did work. I figured Jerry’s generators could put electricity into the power grid maintaining a bank account that could handle demands for “money” from the outside world.

I meet an older German man who was also interested in this situation and every night we would get together and go over the Toronto Globe and Mail finding evidence of little incremental moves toward the New World Order and Cashless Economy – there was something every night. At that time much of it had to do with the Law of the Seas Treaty and the Kennedy Round of the World Trade Organization. My friend said it was like cooking a frog – if you put it in water and heated it slowly, you can cook it, but if you throw a frog in boiling water it will jump out. We were being cooked slowly by world trade agreements and detailed international micromanaging of our lives.

One of the Rochdale kids got a job through his uncle who was a butler at the York Club, Toronto's wealthiest businessmen's club. He came to me with what he said was the most terrifying thing he had ever seen. Robert Bourassa, Prime Minister of Quebec, came into the club with his bodyguards who immediately ejected the only journalist in the room and locked all the doors. Bourassa took the microphone and explained that Pierre Trudeau was setting up a new organization of world leaders and that he would run it like a graduate school seminar with himself as the professor and the other leaders as students. He would give them assignments and when they came back he would grade them and give them new assignments. He was going to have them meet once without him so they could see that they could not make real decisions without him being there. After that he would be running the show. The purpose of Bourassa coming to see the English business elite was to make sure no one made negative remarks to the press about Trudeau not being at the initial meeting.

After the meeting Italian Prime Minister, Aldo Moro, said, "How can we discuss natural resources without Pierre Trudeau in the room? The next time they met, there was a group photo with all of the other leaders wearing black suits and Pierre standing out in a white suit with a flower in his lapel.

After President Reagan's first G7 meeting reporters asked Trudeau how he did and Trudeau said, "I'd give him an "A".

Reagan asked an aid, "Why do we all have to do what Trudeau tells us to do?"

In December, 1975, the new Toronto phone books came out and on the cover was the logo of the Montreal Olympics. My friend said, “Look, they put the number 666 in the Olympic logo.”

I said, “What’s that?” I had never heard of that number having any particular significance.

He said the Bible associates that number with the things we were studying. By then we had all been thrown out of Rochdale and I was staying on the couch of someone who owned a Bible. I got it down thinking it was like looking for a needle in a haystack for me to find the number 666 in that huge book that I knew almost nothing about. I flipped toward the back and saw the word “Revelation” at the top of the page. As I skimmed down the left hand column, I suddenly saw the words, “six hundred threescore and six.”

In that Bible, Rev. 13:16-18 was written as one paragraph and it said that someone would cause everyone to get a mark in their right hand or forehead that would be necessary to buy or sell. That sounded like the cashless economy to me. I went to the beginning of the chapter and it said a beast getting power from the dragon (which I assumed to be Satan) would have power over all kindred’s, tongues, and nations (that sounded like the New World Order).

Next I looked at the beginning of Revelation where a note said John wrote it on the Isle of Patmos in 96 A.D. I remembered from Sunday school that Jesus lived to be 33 years old. I figured if Jesus knew all of this 2000 years ago, he must be the Son of God and if he could tell John about it 63 years after they murdered him, he must be raised from the dead. Therefore, in all of world history from creation to eternity, Jesus is the leader of the good guys and if I wanted to be a good guy, I had to find out who he is, and what he is doing, and what he wants me to do about it. It seemed to be consistent with what I had already seen for me to help the believers in Jesus live without the mark of the beast – we can’t buy & sell, but we can plant & harvest and give & receive. As I read the rest of Revelation, I saw half a dozen contrasts between those who received the mark and those who refused. Believe me – you don’t want it.

Since then I have encountered many places where the beast has put his number. If you look at the 666 side of my old campaign leaflet you will see the number 666 in the upper left-hand corner on the label of elite men’s dress shirts among the first imports from China after they made the deal (probably with descendants of the same Skull and Bones people who brought them the opium in the 1800's) to become the manufacturing center of the world.

To the right, you see an Italian shoe label showing the beast with two horns that looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon (Revelation 13:11).

How could one miss the three sixes in the logo of the Trilateral Commission and how could one be a member without knowing who they were working for?

The lower left corner shows the torch being passed from 451 (Fahrenheit?) to 666 in the pentagon’s Defense Management Journal in the First Quarter 1980 - just after we let the hostages be captured in Iran to jump-start world terrorism.

Next an Israeli lottery ticket (uncover the six, six and win) and the logos of the Montreal and Korean Olympics (the world government of sports).

Finally you see the first IRS form for reporting actions on Individual Retirement Accounts and the UPC Symbol or barcode – the 666 just to the right of the center divider is just random chance but it does show that two thin lines close together represent the number 6 – the same pattern is used for the 6s that are always at the beginning, middle, and end of the barcode. This flyer is pre-Goggle but look closely and you will see the three sixes in their logo as well.

On May 31, 1975, (between seeing the ATM machine and the Olympic logo) I met Buckminster Fuller at the Great Lakes Megalopolis Conference in Toronto. This was one of many regional gatherings leading to the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, exactly a year later. Bucky asked me to meet him there and I agreed.

In Vancouver they created the United Nations Department of Human Settlements to “advise” local governments on city planning etc. On the first day of the conference, May 31, 1976, Maclean’s (Canada’s national news magazine), in an article called “Jimmy Carter Saves” reported “His listed net worth is $666,000.” Jimmy was their boy.

I later learned about the Trilateral Commission formed by David Rockefeller in 1973 with 80 members each from Europe, North America, and Japan to plan a common strategy toward world government. At their first meeting Jimmy Carter was introduced as the next president of the United States. Their first position paper was called “Toward a Renovated World Monetary System” basically calling for one world currency. When Jimmy was elected, about one fourth of the North American members resigned to become the Carter administration and they were immediately replaced by George Bush, George Schultz, Casper Winebarger and the next planned administration. The Trilateral Commission logo also incorporates the symbolic 666.

The Trilateral Commission's original membership also included people from the New York Times, LA Times, Associated Press, CBS, ABC, and NBC. Some call that the mass media or drive-by media. Because of the logo, I just call them the antichrist media - always in favor of the UN and technological progress toward the mark. On the 40th anniversary of the organization, David Rockefeller thanked the media people for not letting you know that they existed.

When I got to Vancouver I found that the hippie/environmentalist “Habitat Conference” on the outskirts of town was full of friends from Rochdale. Mike Nickerson was the leading proponent of solar energy, Dalton McCarthy was the key opponent of nuclear energy, Funk was the head of security, Wilf (from the Indian Institute on the 17th floor) was camped out with his wife in a teepee, Bernie Bomers (our first general manager) was in charge of all the music, theater, and other entertainment for the delegates.

Downtown in the Masonic Hall there was something more sinister going on. I understand that many of the people there thought they were doing a good thing, but what they were doing was planning how they were going to run the world and except for a bit of very superficial reporting, the world has no idea what the UN is doing. When they say they are going to “plan all the world’s human settlements” it just doesn’t register with people that if those guys are deciding everything then all of our national, state, and local governments are just going through the motions. One of the CBC cameramen was Rochdale security guard Gary Merton.

The Vancouver Declaration was the first big overall plan for detailed regulation of our lives, but they were nibbling at it before, and they have produced more and more detailed plans ever since. The Department of Human Settlements grew out of Vancouver 1976 and in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro the UN's Division for Sustainable Development got approval for Agenda 21 – the UN plan for what they hope to do in the 21st century. The core of the plan is to greatly reduce the rural population and stack people in the urban areas. In the ensuing years thousands of national, state, and local governments have signed on to implement these plans in their local area.

As time went by, I became familiar with other organizations that promote the idea of world government. Antony Sutton wrote the trilogy Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, and Wall Street and FDR. He found that the same men were backing all the three major forces in WWII. Then someone gave him the list of all the members of Yale’s Skull and Bones fraternity since its inception in 1832. There were all the same men that he had been writing about in the Wall Street series! S&B admits 15 new members every year. Many of their early members were involved in the China trade selling opium to China to buy tea, silk, and porcelain for sale in Europe and the United States.

Carroll Quigley wrote Tragedy and Hope about how the British Empire ran the part of the world they could control and about the Americans who helped them do it. Quigley was the historian of the Council on Foreign Relations that basically controls American politics and foreign policy. Gary Allen wrote a book called None Dare Call it Conspiracy that was basically a review of Tragedy and Hope. Cleon Skousen also wrote about it in The Naked Capitalist.

Rhodes scholarships were specifically created to ensure that the eventual world government would speak English and to cancel the American Revolution by bringing America back into the empire. Key faculty like Quigley feed protégés like Bill Clinton into the globalist system. Clinton notes that his earlier mentor, Senator William Fulbright, became an internationalist while a Rhodes Scholar. The Obama administration had more graduates from Oxford than from any American University.

There are many other aspects to the move toward world government that ex-President Obama referred to when he said, "For the international order that we have worked for generations to build. Ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs. Order and progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all powerful sovereign." He was referring to the stream of power and control that flows through the central banking systems, the UN, Bilderbergers, the Club of Rome, Trilateral Commission, World Bank, IMF, the Olympics (world government of sports), but there are two other major streams of power that also lead to world government -- communism and Islam. The goal of communism is to have a world government and that is also the goal of Islam - they anticipate the world being run by the 13th Madhi which sounds a lot like the beast in Revelation.

When Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them and said, "All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Jesus didn't question the fact that Satan controlled all of those kingdoms and had the power to give them to whomever he pleased, Jesus just said, "Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thy serve."

That has not changed. What would have changed it? Jesus told Pontius Pilate, "My kingdom is not of this world, if it were of this world then would my servants fight." He chose instead, to die for our sins and then send the holy spirit to guide each of us as the government now rests upon his shoulders. All of the "ordinary men and women" that Obama disparaged can be guided by the holy spirit of God to do all that is necessary to lead the multitudes to live righteously as the body of Christ.

Meanwhile, back at the government, Satan has continued to guide the power-freaks to do whatever is necessary to keep control whether it is having the money to keep getting elected or to maintain their position within the deep state or in the corporate and banking worlds that run things from generation to generation. At the highest levels they worship Satan just as he asked Jesus to do. In the last few years they have even recreated the arch of Baal to conduct Baal

worship at large international power and wealth gatherings like Davados the UN, and the G-7 nations conference.

The central act in Baal worship (introduced to Israel by Jezebel) is the sacrifice of babies. Archaeologists tell us that the general age of babies sacrificed to Baal was about one and a half or two months old. Today they catch most of them before they leave the womb. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was an advocate of breeding people like racehorses and only reproducing the best - she was particularly interested in reducing the Black population. Skull and Bonesman Avrille Harriman and Prescott Bush were among the early financiers for giving I.Q. tests to elementary school children and sterilizing those with low I.Q.s.

Vic Bittner and the Charismatic Fellowship

I had not learned all of this yet when I came home from Vancouver in 1976, but I did know about Trudeau and Carter the mark of the beast. I set out looking for a church. It seemed like everywhere I went there was nobody home. I just felt like none of those people were going to be open to what I had to say. The local paper had a church ads section every Saturday. One day my mother said, "This one looks different - Charismatic Fellowship meeting in the Q T Restaurant."

As I entered the restaurant there were about a dozen people sitting in a circle singing joyfully. They seemed to be led by a man with an autoharp (Vic Bittner) and a lady with an accordion (Ruth Ann). I recognized Dick Webster, my 7th grade PE teacher. When they finished singing, Vic said, "Does anyone need healing today?" I had never been in a church where they asked that as if they would actually heal anyone who needed it. I grew up in a church with a bulletin listing members who were sick and shut-in. It was suggested we pray for them, but I don't think anyone really expected them to get healed right away. I decided I could talk to these people.

When I laid out the story of the cashless economy and the new world order they said, "That's the end-times message. We don't know all of those details, but we know that we are living in those times." I was so glad to hear that there were others who knew about this and that it actually had a name "end-times" or "last days." After that we didn't talk about my story much - I just wanted to learn what they could teach me about Jesus.

When the Charismatic Fellowship praised and worshiped there would be a time when everyone was either saying Thank you Jesus, Hallelujah, or praying in tongues. As the crescendo of praise died down, one lone voice would come forth - usually in an unknown tongue. After a brief pause another voice would give the interpretation. Usually someone would confirm the interpretation. Sometimes the message would come directly as prophecy in English. In all of my time there, I never heard an uninterpreted tongue except when all worshiped simultaneously.

Vic had been the assistant pastor of a Lutheran church before he received the Holy Spirit and got the left foot of disfellowship. He had been in charge of a committee having to do with addiction and a couple of ladies from Georgia who were visiting the Mayo Clinic came in thinking it was a healing service. They found Vic sitting with a little committee and a drunk trying to figure out what to do. The ladies from Georgia said. "Why don't you lay hands on him and heal him?"

Vic said he didn't think they could do that, but the ladies took him through the scripture convincing him that if he would receive the Holy Spirit he could then pray for the drunk. They laid hands on him; he began speaking in tongues; and immediately he got the interpretation, "Praise the Lord every day; praise the Lord for everything." Then they laid hands on the drunk and the Spirit said, "If you can get him to a place where he can dry out for 30 days, he will be OK." There was a farm nearby just for that purpose and money in the budget to send him. They did and he was fine.

The spiritual gifts discussed in 1 Corinthians 12 began to flow in Vic's little group. The Missouri Synod Lutherans revoked his pastor's credentials and now he was meeting with a little group in a friend's restaurant on Sundays and in the fellowship hall of a local church on Tuesdays. Vic did not feel that God was leading him to build a church so he encouraged people to go to their own church if they had one and we would have about 50 people on Tuesday.

Horst Hildebran often came by and spoke. One night he was at a chalkboard talking about healing in the Old Testament and putting the scripture references on the board. Then he went through the healing scriptures in the New Testament. He didn't say much about any of them - just listed them, but most of us were familiar with the stories. He said if God could heal in the Old Testament and Jesus came to show us how and by His stripes we are healed, and then certainly we can heal now. Does anyone need healing?

One of our regular members had brought his brother who had a badly withered right leg that was about 3 or 4 inches shorter than his left leg - he wore a large orthopedic shoe. He and Horst sat facing each other; Horst reached down to pick up his feet and said, "Your leg hasn't always been this way, has it?"

The man said, "No, I wasn't born this way."

Horst said, "You are bitter towards someone and you need to forgive them. If you don't, I can't pray for you because God won't answer."

The man began crying and said, "I do want to let go of this bitterness - not just to get healed, but because I do not want to carry it anymore."

Horst still holding the man's feet said, "Leg, I command you to come out in Jesus' name. Leg, I command you to come out in Jesus' name." The third time he said it, "Leg, I command you to come out in Jesus' name." the leg began to shake and shake, and as it did, it began to straighten out."

The man let out a scream and began running around the room. He stopped to take off the orthopedic shoe and kept running. It was the first miracle I ever saw with my own eyes.

Vic took us to Minneapolis for a joint conference of Lutheran and Catholic Charismatic’s where I heard Kevin Ranaghan read off a number of prophecies that had come at various conferences. They spoke of a time of trouble coming for the world, but that it will be a time of glory for God's church. Institutions and buildings that the church now thinks might sustain them will not be functional but as we cling to God, he will sustain us. It sounded like what I see coming as we are guided to live without the mark so I got the tape, transcribed it, my sister typed it, I got it printed, and I will put it in the appendix.

During my time with Vic's group I found two books by Jerry Lucas. One was about memorizing the Bible as well as other things. I will just give a few examples of pictures used to memorize state capitals. Picture a desk with a sign over it that says "TAXES". A man walks up to the desk and puts a $10 bill on the counter because he "owes 10 taxes" (Austin, Texas).

Picture a tin can with two little arms that are sewing a button on a shirt. Looking out from behind the can is a big toe with a face and eyes on it. That's "Toe peek-a can sews" (Topeka, Kansas).

Last, picture a flag pole with a ball on top of it, a face on the ball and a halo over its head. Straws come out of its mouth going down into many ice cream sodas, "Saint Pole many sodas" (St. Paul, Minnesota).

Jerry used these techniques to get a straight "A" average and becoming a Rhodes Scholar while playing basketball all the time. The whole system seems to be difficult for an adult to get used to, but some children can get right into it.

The other book, Theomatics, (co-authored by Del Washburn) was about an underlying number system in the Bible. In both Hebrew and Greek languages the same symbols were used for numbers and letters. The first letter in the alphabet would be one, the second letter two, on up to ten and then count by tens to one hundred and by hundreds until they ran out of letters (400 in Hebrew and 800 in Greek).

The letters in the word JESUS in Greek add up to 888 and words and phrases referring to him are evenly divisible by 111. Here are a few examples:

  • "Her begotten of the spirit is holy" 111 X 28 (Matthew 1:20)
  • "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son" 111 X 27 (Matthew 1:23)
  • "His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb" 111 X 45 (Luke 2:21)
  • "This child" 111 X 26 (Luke 2:17)
  • "Name of the holy child Jesus" (Acts 4:30)
  • "Name of the Lord Jesus" 111 X 30 (1 Corinthians 5:4)
  • "My name" 111 X 10 (Revelation 2:13)
  • "Thou art the Christ, the Son of God 111 X 30 (John 11:27)
  • High priest after the order of Melchizedek 111 X 31 (Hebrews 7:17)

There are thousands of examples of how this works, but when professional statisticians were asked the odds of just 32 examples working out as they did the answer was one chance in 31,608,834,580,000,000,000,000

The passage "Drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty-three" 153 X 54" John 21:11 introduces us to the number 153. Words like fishes, the net, fishers of men, follow me, etc. refer to gathering new converts into the Kingdom. The number 153 also refers to Jesus being the way, truth, life, door into the sheepfold, and the narrow gate.

The number 276 is used to reference Satan, hell, the dragon, the accuser of the brethren, the evil one, the tares are the sons of the evil one, the god of this age has blinded, blinded the minds, lie, be subject to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you. All of these concepts are evenly divisible by 276 which is the number of people on the ship that took Paul to Rome in Acts 27:37.

The number 144 is related to those who follow Jesus - most famously "And I looked, and behold, the lamb stood on Mt. Zion, and with him 144 thousands having His name and the name of His Father written on their forehead," (Revelation 14:1)

  • Seal the servants of our God 144 X 31 (Revelation 7:3)
  • The ones who are clothed in white robes 144 X 13 (Revelation 7:13)
  • Endurance of the saints 144 X 11 (Revelation 14:11)
  • He that endures until the end shall be saved 144 X 30 (Matthew 24:13)
  • And let the one who is thirsty come 144 X 23 (Revelation 22:17)
  • Bride of the lamb 144 X 17 (Revelation 22:9)
  • Kingdom of God 144 X 8 (Matthew 21:31)
  • Kingdom of heaven 144 X 20 (Matthew 3:2)
  • The number 666 is not surprisingly related to the beast and the mark of the beast.

The man of sin, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that, is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, showing himself as being God. 666 X 22 (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

  • Then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth 666 X 13 (2 Thessalonians 2:8)
  • According to the operation of Satan with all power and signs and wonders 666 X 6 (2 Thessalonians 2:9)
  • And the dragon gave to it its power and its throne and great authority
  • 666 X 12 (Revelation 13:2)
  • It causes all, the small and great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or forehead
  • 666 X 40 (Revelation 13:16)
  • And it provides that no one should be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark. or the name of the beast, or the number of its name
  • 666 X 16 (Revelation 13:17)
  • Foul and evil sores came upon the men who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped his image 666 X 19 (Revelation 16:2)
  • Those who had received the mark of the beast 666 X 3 (Revelation 19:20)
  • The kingdoms of this world 666 X 2 (Luke 4:5)
  • Merchants of the earth 666 (Revelation 18:3)
  • Where the harlot sits 666 (Revelation 17:15)
  • Those days 666 (Matthew 24:19)
  • All the tribes if the earth will mourn 666 X 4 (Matthew 24:30)

Del and Jerry realized from the beginning that some of the calculations were off by one or two digits but that is all included in the astronomical odds against these patterns all working out. For me testing out certain passages to see what their theomatic values would tell me about their meaning was a valuable study tool, but the big value for me was that it is proof that the Bible is the word of God. For this to work as it does, some power (God) needed to actually design both languages and control every word in the Bible to make it all possible.

I haven't done as much of this as I wished I had, but Vic has made a deep study of it and learned many new things.

Wynn Worley and Deliverance

The last thing I did with Vic's group was attend a Wynn Worley meeting. Horst told us about Wynn's deliverance meeting and we went to see him over in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It was the first time I ever saw demons cast out of people. Years later, when I was travelling around the country, I would go to Wynn's church, Hegewisch Baptist Church, in Highland, Indiana.

At the end of the sermon, in addition to inviting people to accept the Lord or make a fresh commitment, he would say, "Some of you are believers, but you still find yourselves doing things that you know you shouldn’t do and don't want to do. That means that you have demons that have probably been in you since before you came to Christ. If you would like them cast out, come to the center aisle. If know how to cast out demons and want to work tonight go to the side aisles. Then he would leave the sanctuary and go to his office to pray. The music minister would then pair them up - men with men and women with women. They would sit and speak briefly while the person needing deliverance might say what he felt was going on or the worker discerned what was needed and begin to command the demons to leave in Jesus' name or by the power of the blood of Jesus. Often the demons came out through the mouth either through screaming, coughing, or sometimes vomiting.

Usually there was a need to identify the name or nature of the spirit that was being cast out. I remember a case where the spirit seemed to resist when the deliverance minister suddenly said, "Spirit of rejection from the womb, I command you to come out in Jesus' name." The man cried out in anguish and was relieved of that spirit. Afterwards, the man said that he had two siblings who were 15 and 18 years older than him. When his mother learned that she was pregnant again, she did not want him. She had been raising children for almost 20 years and she didn't want to face another 20 years - she wanted that faze of her life to be over. He sensed that while he was in her womb and he knew he was not wanted. Deep down he knew he was not wanted and he felt it until the spirit was cast out. Imagine how a baby feels in the womb when they that their mother is about to kill them.

I am certainly no authority on spiritual warfare, but I know it is real and God wants us to do it. Wynn always said, "You cannot counsel demons; you have to cast them out." Everywhere Jesus went he taught about the kingdom of God, healed the sick, and cast out demons. We need to be doing all of those things. I know of no better source than Wynn's books that are available through the Hegewisch website. Wynn is no longer with us, but his son-in-law Michael Thierer is now the pastor.

When I was on the road with JOHN 3:16 signs, I would go to Hegewisch every time I was in the Chicago area. Michael was running the bookstore. One day he had a new book called America's Secret Establishment: An Introduction to the Order of Skull & Bones by Antony Sutton. I was familiar with three of Sutton's earlier books Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, and Wall Street and FDR. It started when the Hover Institute at Stanford University asked him to do a comparative study of the Russian and American military. He found that since the Russian Revolution Americans have used foreign aid and business deals often financed by the American government to build up their military and economy. He concluded that without our help they would barely have a military. All the trucks carrying supplies to Vietnam - where we were then fighting - were made in a factory that we basically gave them. They could never have put up the first satellite without our help, but it was used to. Sutton identified the Wall Street businesses that financed and profited from all of this. When Sutton wrote of Wall Street and the rise of Hitler and FDR, he found the same individuals and corporations.

One day a relative of a Skull and Bones member brought Sutton a bound volume showing the names of every man who had ever been part of a Yale University fraternity called Skull and Bones. At first he didn't think much of it, but he made copies of all the pages before returning the material to the person who gave it to him. When he looked through it he found all of the same men that he had been writing about in the Wall Street series - they were all members of the same college fraternity!!!

Skull and Bones was founded in 1832 by William Russell incorporated in 1853 as the Russell Trust. His uncle was the head of the Russell Company running the American end of the China trade selling opium to buy tea, silk, and porcelain. William had just returned from spending his junior year in Germany and while 15 new members were added every year, the first class only lists 14 names because the one German included has never been revealed. One basic rule is that any time a Bonesman has the power to determine who gets a position and a member wants it the member automatically gets it. Another central tenant is that there should eventually be one world government.

The second American in the first class of Skull and Bones was Alfonso Taft. He became Secretary of War under President Grant and Attorney General under Rutherford B. Hayes when he made the infamous deal to win the presidency by pulling federal troops out of the south enabling whites to subjugate the "free" Black population. His son, President William Howard Taft was elected in 1900 and named Henry Stimson S&B '65 as his Secretary of War. Stimson returned as secretary of War in both WWI and WWII. His first problem was to catch Geronimo and his last problem was to decide who would tell President Truman that we had a big bomb we were going to drop on the Japanese.

Meanwhile, back at the Civil War, three or four of the conventions where southern states left the union were chaired by S&B members while William Russell was a top officer in the Connecticut Army. Apparently the Southern aristocracy was involved in the China trade and sending their children to Yale.

One day

During my years with Vic's group I taught social studies at the Rochester Alternate School. Students who otherwise would have left school worked 20 hours per week on a regular job and went to school from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. I would often substitute in the regular classroom during the day.

Palmer Method Handwriting

In the fall of 1977, my father mentioned that the Palmer Method handwriting company was looking for a sales consultant for the southeastern states. I applied and got the job - no doubt because Dad was the author of the books and the owner of the company had known me since I was a teenager.

Austin Normal Palmer was the father of modern cursive penmanship. He first published The Western Penman in 1884 and when he died in 1927 80% of the elementary school children in America were using his books. The economy died two years later and schools quit buying new books, but they kept using Palmer Method books they had until the baby boom came along at the end of WWII.

Until 1925 no American child had learned to print - they all wrote in cursive. The old McGuffey Readers taught "slate work" in cursive. However, in 1925 a lady came over from England advocating that children learn manuscript first because the letters look more like the letters they were reading. Palmer pointed out that the "a" and the "g" don't look the same and that children making one letter at a time would plant their hand on the desk in a way that would make it very difficult to glide the hand properly when it was time to write cursive.

Palmer trained writers rest the forearm of the writing hand on the desk and let the hand glide over the page. Line up a piece of paper with the upper right-hand corner and the lower left-hand corner forming a line straight to the middle of your body. Now place your forearm on the desk or table in a position that goes right up the middle of the page. Swing you arm from the elbow like a windshield wiper and you will see that you can go right across the page. You can make letters large or small and write words of any length.

An alternative for certain situations is to rest the hand on the bone at the heal of the hand - right by the wrist. This gives the hand room to move because the little finger is not stuck to the table.

When Dad retired, Dr. Moon sold Palmer to Macmillan Company and they let it die by not updating the books every five years and only filling orders for existing customers. Palmer books stayed in print for thirty years, but they gradually died out. When the "common core" curriculum came out many state legislators noticed the absence of cursive writing 13 states told their schools to teach cursive.

I enjoyed travelling the south for three years doing workshops for mostly third grade teachers. Near the end of each year I would switch to sales mode and make presentations to committees deciding what books to buy for the next few years. At first, I was not very good at this, but I got the hang of it and in my last year every committee I spoke to chose Palmer.

Atlanta's Missing and Murdered Children

On my first day in Atlanta, the Georgia state textbook director told me to park downtown and take a cab to his office because the legislature was in session and there was no parking in that area. Oscar Hightower, the cab driver who took me back to my car became a good friend and invited me to stay at his place when I was in town. We ended up in Atlanta's oldest Black community called Pittsburgh.

When the Civil War ended, railroad tracks formed the southern boundary of Atlanta. Black folks coming into the city from rural plantations were told to stay south of those tracks creating the neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh was a proud and prosperous community under segregation. Education was so highly valued that they actually led the city of Atlanta with the highest percentage of high school graduates going to college and those who did not go were well trained tradesmen coming out of Carver High School.

With integration the prosperous and well-educated residents went looking for better housing and those college educated young people went on to successful careers but they only came back to see Mama. Between 1960 and 1990 our population went from 10,000 to 3,500. With half of the houses empty, homeless people began moving in and we were now leading the city in 911 calls.

Not long after I got to Pittsburgh Oscar left and I met a man named Bobby Lee Fears who had been one of the Ohio Players and later sang and played guitar with former governor Lester Maddox as "The Governor and the Dishwasher". Bobby's mother had recently passed and he asked me to move into his house - which I did. I got a job renovating homes with an old man named James Williams. (His grandson is Big Boy of Outcast.)

I renewed my acquaintance with Hosea Williams and explained what I knew about Jimmy Carter and his use of 666 to promote his career. Hosea was not impressed by Carter because all of the Black people he knew that went to Washington with him ended up in offices with nothing to do. Andy Young had taken the fall for talking to the Palestinians and resigned as UN Ambassador, but Hosea knew Andy well enough to know he wouldn't do anything but what the boss wanted him to do. Hosea decided to convince Ralph Abernathy and Charles Evers (Medgar's brother) to endorse Ronald Reagan against Jimmy Carter. Later I asked him if my story was the reason he did that and he said he didn't have any other reason - but, as far as I know, he never explained that in public and his daughter, Elisabeth Omilami says that he got Reagan's promise to support the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

On March 13, 1981, I was reading my Bible in a McDonald's restaurant when the people at the next table left and I saw a man at the next table also reading a Bible. I went over to say hello and in the ensuing conversation he said the Lord told him to come to Atlanta without telling him why. When he was crossing the Mississippi River for the first time in his life, the Lord said he was to tell the task force investigating the Atlanta Missing and Murdered Children that they were being killed by a uniformed, veteran, white, policeman, named Williams. He had been in town for three or four days, but just now the Lord was telling him that it was time to go talk to the task force.

When we got to the task force office George Bush was standing on the sidewalk giving a press conference about the computer that the federal government was giving the police to keep track of leads. We walked behind VP Bush and Mike said it would take 15 or 20 minutes and would I like to come along or wait outside. I said I would wait outside. When he finished he came back to Pittsburgh with me at Bobby Lee Fears' house.

Mike was an amazing brother in Christ. He had been a professional rodeo cowboy for years, but the Lord told him to stop - he had something else for him to do. Mike resisted until a bull threw him and he ended up in traction. He agreed to quit the rodeo and God healed him. He got up, got dressed, and left the hospital.

Mike had a very simple lifestyle. He carried a very small backpack with a Bible, soap, hand towel, note pad, a few gospel tracts that he passed on as soon as he read them. Daily, he would wash his clothes and hang them over the gas space heater while he took a bath. The clothes were amazing in that they dried very quickly and kept him warm enough without a jacket in the Atlanta winter. (That might also be explained by the fact that he grew up in Montana.)

Mike got into an impromptu prayer meeting/Bible study in a neighborhood living room with Mrs. Mosley, her son, and her two adult daughters. Mrs. Mosley said she heard a Black preacher on the radio say the kids are being killed by a white policeman. One of the daughters - who often receives words of knowledge (see 1st Corinthians 12:8), said, "and his last name is Williams.") Then Mike told them his story - he was touched that they gave him a $10 food stamp as a tithe.

Not everyone believes that the creator of the universe communicates with his creation; I contend that the reaction of the police and others to this information shows that some of them knew there was truth to this particular story and they did not want that truth to be known.

I spoke with Mike about our eventual need to live without the mark of the beast and the difficulty of dealing with professing Christians who insist that they don't have to worry about that because they are going to get "raptured" before that happens. Mike pointed out that Matthew 24 gives the best account of how that will all happen giving the sequence of events using the words "beginning, then, and then , when, and immediately after." This nugget of wisdom has been of immense value to me over the years. I suggest you read it carefully for yourself.

After a couple of weeks, Mike said this would be a faith test and it would be quite awhile before the truth would come out. He was supposed to return to California. He went down to I-20, stuck out his thumb, and left. That left me as the only one in town that knew the whole story.

I felt the need to talk to a Christian friend about the situation so I hitchhiked to Mississippi to see Dr. John Perkins. While I was gone, three more children were killed so I went and told the story to Hosea Williams. He immediately reached for the phone to call Atlanta Public Safety Commissioner Lee Brown to see if he could get the police to tell him anything about the investigation of the white policeman. They said Brown was in a meeting and would get right back to him. Hosea kept trying for a couple weeks but they would not talk to him about the uniformed, veteran, white, policeman named Williams. I said I would be back and kept after Hosea for three weeks, but he could not get them to respond. He was perplexed. I thanked him for trying.

Meanwhile Arthur Langford, Atlanta's youngest City Councilman and later Georgia State Senator, had begun organizing volunteers to go out every Saturday to search for clues. I figured he would know people directly involved in the investigation. He was also a pastor at Rush Memorial Congregational Church so I went to see him there. He heard my story and said he would talk to the Black officer he trusted most when they met the following Saturday. The next week I went back to see him. He said that Major Taylor, the number two man on the task force, told him that the uniformed, veteran, white cop was a solid suspect - they had by no means eliminated him, but they didn't have enough evidence to charge him. Less than a week later Wayne Williams was stopped driving across the Chattahoochee River and everyone stopped looking at anyone else.

When Wayne hired Mary Welcome as his lawyer, I went to her with the story and asked her to see if the files given to her as defense council contained any information about the white policeman named Williams. She said she would, but if she ever did, I never heard about it. I also wanted her to call Arthur Langford as a witness to testify about what Major Taylor told him. She could then call Major Taylor and ask him the basis for that comment and for the file on the investigation of the white policeman named Williams. She asked me to write the story in a letter to Wayne and I did and gave it to her.

By the time I got back to Mary, the trial had started. I waited outside the courthouse until she came out and walked her to her car. She said that Wayne had read my letter, and was giving it serious consideration, but they had not had a chance to discuss it in detail. (After the trial when I met Wayne's father I asked him to see if Wayne ever got my letter. He reported back that Wayne said he never heard of me of the white policeman named Williams.)

When I got back to the courthouse, Al Binder, the white lawyer from Mississippi, was coming down the steps. As I walked along side of him I said, "Can I talk to you?"

He said, "I'm not allowed to talk to the press,"

I said, "I am not the press and I didn't ask you to talk. I asked if I could talk to you."

He said, "OK," and I told him the story. He said he would ask the police about it.

That very afternoon I began to notice young white men in plain cars following me as I walked down the street. One would drive slowly by me and then another. They would circle the block. Soon it became clear that their operation included at least one police car with a uniformed officer. They were obvious because they were the only white men in the neighborhood except me and the Jewish couple that owned the Great Savings grocery store.

The next day Otis Thorpe, Fulton County Tax Commissioner, loaned Bobby $19,000 with $6,000 in cash and the rest was supposed to renovate the house. Apparently, Bobby thought he could invest his $6,000 in cocaine, turn it over a couple of times, repay the loan and get his house renovated for free. Thorpe insisted that the work had to be done by a guy Bobby referred to as Big Al who ran a drug treatment program that used the men to do home renovation - hypodermic needles began to appear in the trash. Big Al's men were obviously there to watch me (They didn't know how to renovate the house and they never did it.) and try to hear what I had to say about the case. I hid in the basement and listened to them panic, "Did you see where he went?" They jumped in their pick-up truck and drove around the block looking for me.

The day Judge Cooper issued a gag order Big Al's men kept saying, "How 'bout them Dogs! How 'bout them Dogs!" (Herschel Walker was leading the Georgia Bulldogs to the national championship.) Then, "How 'bout that gag order! How 'bout that gag order!" They were trying to get me to talk about the case and the gag order, but I hadn't seen the morning paper and I had no idea what they were talking about."

For the next couple of months I was constantly watched by a combination of on duty white police with uniforms and police cars, off duty or plainclothes police, and white civilians who seemed to be in radio contact with the police. Many people in the neighborhood were afraid to be seen with me as I led a parade of white folks through the hood.

Months earlier Bobby and I spent a day in the Fulton County Courthouse looking for a lawyer from whom Bobby hoped to borrow money. We finally found him coming out of Judge Clarence Cooper's courtroom. He had a big 'ol client that looked like a pro wrestler who just put on shoes to come to court. Bobby said he ran the Dixie Mafia in the North Georgia Mountains. One day near the end Wayne Williams' trial, I was walking down McDaniel Street when a car pulled over and the driver was pointing at me and talking. The man in the passenger seat was the Dixie Mafia guy! I began skipping down the street singing, "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world."

The night before Wayne's trial went to the jury the tension at the corner of McDaniel St. and Delevan St. was just electric. There were two cop cars at the intersection and other white folks in area. Bobby was raging at me about the heat I was drawing and saying that if they caught him with all of the cocaine he had, it would be my entire fault. I said, "If they don't know that the guy with the cotton hanging out of his nose has the cocaine, then they need a new occupation." He insisted that I get all of my things and get out of his house.

I packed all of my possessions in a double pillowcase and led my parade of white guys up the street. Across from Gideon Elementary School on Welch Street, I stopped at a friend's house to reorganize and separate the evidence about the mark of the beast including my flyer about the Maclean's Magazine article giving Jimmy Carter's net worth as $666,000. I put it all on top so if I had to run, I could grab it and leave the rest behind.

As I came out of B.J.'s house I could hear the engine of the tired white station wagon that had been leading the surveillance and I glanced to the left before walking to the right. I was pretty sure the driver was the white cop named Williams. He followed me slowly and as I got to the corner of Rockwell Street. I slowed down so he had to be very obvious or proceed. He turned left on Rockwell and then left on Hobson. Before he could communicate with the car that was to turn off of Coleman to pick up my trail, I raced across the street and hid behind a wood pile in the back of a vacant lot.

Four or five cars converged on the place where I had disappeared. Then five or six motorcycles roared up the Rockwell hill and swung their headlights across the vacant lot, but they couldn't see me. I put my things in the backseat of a Chevy Impala in the next yard that I had given to Leon Fannin. Years later I learned that the cops came to Leon's door wanting to search the car. His wife was terrified, but he refused to let them search it. Meanwhile, I had left the neighborhood with everything I didn't want them to see. The next morning Leon cleaned all of my belongings out of the car.

When I got back to the neighborhood, the man in the white station wagon spotted me on McDaniel Street. I hid while he went around the block and then I circled around to Rosa Arnold's church at 1048 Sims Street. He was sitting in front of the church, but I was behind him because he expected e to come directly to the church instead of going around the block. I prayed - he left - and I used my key to get in and take a nap. I'm really sorry that I did not get his license plate number.

As everyone knows, Wayne Williams was found guilty mostly on the basis of fiber evidence. That was the first time the FBI used fiber evidence in a case and a study years later showed that their use of fiber evidence was often badly done with virtually all errors made in favor of the prosecution.

After the trial, I went to see Wayne's parents. His mother answered the door, but retired to the back of the house. Homer Williams and I talked in the front room. He was very unhappy with Wayne's lawyers and had contacted Lynn Whatley to be his new lawyer. I told him about my letter sent to Wayne through Mary Welcome and he said he would ask Wayne about it. When we got back together to go see Lynn Watley, Homer said that Wayne had never heard of me and he never got the letter. I told my whole story on tape for Mr. Watley.

Chet Dettlinger went to visit the scenes where each body was found and learned that the police reports on the crimes were very inaccurate. He also went to where each of the children had last been seen and talked to the parents - many of them said they had never been interviewed by the police.

A Vision and a Dream

Flashback: on June 5, 1982, I was standing outside a little storefront church in the Pittsburgh neighborhood when a lady from the congregation said she saw a vision of me walking along and stepping in a puddle of water. Waves went out from where I stepped and a rainbow appeared over the puddle. The interpretation was that people would see my walk and waves would go out from there and people I never met would get saved.

In the spring of 1984 when I was in Idaho, I had a dream that I was living inside of a television set; I had a little chair where I sat over to the side behind the panel with the off-on, volume, and channel dials. Every once and a while I would get up and walk around behind the people who were performing inside the TV and wave to the people who were sitting in their living rooms watching the show. It felt like someday I would be able to talk to those people.

After it became perfectly clear that there was no way that I could get even one delegate to present my views at the Democratic Convention. I settled down for a few days in a homeless shelter in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to think about what I might do next in life. It seemed good to do one last thing related to the political process and that was to go to Dallas and just get a feel for the type of people that would show up as delegates at the Republican Convention that would re-nominate Ronald Reagan.

Outside the convention I saw a man wearing a multi-colored rainbow Afro wig and a T-shirt that said, “JOHN 3:16.” I figured, “Here’s a fellow Christian trying to get the word out. I’ll see what he’s up to.”

As I approached him a reporter stopped and asked, “Are you the guy we always see standing behind golfers on TV?” The rainbow wig nodded.

“Can I ask you some questions?” Rainbow nodded again.

The reporter started asking questions about why he does this, how does he get around the country, how does he get into all of the events, and how does he get into position to be on TV every week? Rainbow man turns every answer into giving Jesus praise and credit for making everything possible. It seemed like the Rainbow man had thought through a set answer for all the questions that reporters generally asked and he gave the same answer every time. The only part that concerned me was that he insisted that something called the “Rapture” was going to happen before the body of Christ went through the experience of living without the mark of the beast. He insisted that it was going to happen this year (whatever year it was) on the next Feast of Trumpets and he wanted to be sure that was included in every article about him.

After the reporter left Rainbow introduced himself as Rollen Stewart. He said he used the T-shirt to put the message on PGA golf and large letters on bed sheets for Monday Night Football. He wanted to do other events - like the last year of USFL football with Herschel Walker - and he asked me if I would put on a JOHN 3:16 shirt and stand behind PGA golfers to send TV waves out to people I would never meet so they could get saved.

   I said, “Sure.”

He said, "What did you say?

   "Sure, why not?"

"I don't know why not, but I have asked everyone I met for the last four years and nobody ever said, 'Yes."

He gave me a JOHN 3:16 shirt with MATT 19:29 on the back. He said he did not need me for Monday Night Football because it was easy for him to get from town to town with a whole week between games, but he would need me to meet him at the Bob Hope Classic golf tournament in Palm Springs, California, the first week in January. He also said that right before I came up to him a reporter from Little Rock Arkansas gave him the card of a businessman who wanted to help him get the message out. The name on the card was Reg Hamman; he was to be a great friend and on our mailing address for years.

The next day we bought the Fort Worth paper and read the article about him and headed out to Texas Stadium for the first preseason game of the 1984 season. In the parking lot we meet a black guy in a cowboy outfit called Cowboy Ray. As the Cowboy's mascot, Ray could take one person into the game. Rollen went and I waited in the parking lot. Only a few minutes passed before Rollen came out on the verge of tears. He said they had refused to let him put up his sign and said the NFL had a new policy to not allow JOHN 3:16 signs.

Rollen was going to LA for the next preseason game so I rode along and went to see my old friend, John Perkins, doing Christian community development in Pasadena. California. By the time I saw Rollen again he had developed the strategy of putting the signs in the end zones during field goals and extra points and the Rutherford Institute was taking the Washington Redskins to court for messing with his signs.

Harambee Christian Family Center

Rollen dropped me off at John Perkins' house in Pasadena, California. John had returned to California with the intention of retiring to a life of speaking and writing when he saw a newspaper article saying that the corner of Howard and Navarro had the highest daytime crime rate of any intersection in southern California. He went to look and found the street full of drug dealers selling their wares through the windows of cars that were lined up clear down the block.

John looked at four houses running back from the corner and envisioned a ministry that could own those homes and combine their backyards to make a playground for the children. When I got there John had bought three houses. He and his family lived in the first one, the second was for staff, an office, and a big room for the Good News Club, the fourth house was being renovated to be a discipleship house where young Black men could be trained as leaders, and the third house was still full of drug dealers.

John said what he really needed was a volunteer coordinator of volunteers. There were about 60 elementary school aged children in the weekly Good News Club and he wanted to start a three hour school from 5 to 8 PM on another day. They would all take Bible Study the second hour and other classes the first and third hours. If they had at least Cs on their report cards in reading and math they could take any class they wanted, but if they didn't, they had to take the subjects they needed. I spoke to the college and young adult classes at Lake Avenue Congregational Church and recruited twenty-four volunteers to teacher one class a week with a one year commitment. I taught gardening and each of my kids planted a few vegetables in their yard - even those in public housing found a little patch they could use.

The adult Sunday School at Lake Avenue was fantastic! There were about 200 people in the class and the teacher, Peter Wagner, was chairman of the World Missions department at Fuller Theological Seminary. There were Bible translators there from the Summer Institute of Linguistics and young people from the Vineyard who would say things like, "There is someone here that has such and such a physical problem. The Lord wants you to come to us after class for prayer." The result would not only be healing but some additional ministry that the Lord wanted to do.

I would sometimes sit in the cool of the evening and watch the dealers. They called me "Officer Friendly." John's daughter, Betty asked me how long I would be staying and I just blurted out, "Until the problems with the drug dealers are over."

She said, "That will be forever."

The next night the dealers threw a wine bottle full of gas on the roof of the staff house. It didn't break but rolled off into a bush that was wet from a day of steady drizzling rain that protected it from the flames. It seemed Biblical, "behold the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed." (Exodus 3:2) The next night John asked me to stay up and watch for trouble. At about 3:00 AM it got cold and I went in to get a long sleeved shirt. As soon as I got in, I heard a thump on the roof and went back out. I climbed the tall fence that ran between the first two houses and went up on the roof. I stepped on the small flame that was floating on the water left by the day's misty weather.

John decided that was enough. He arranged for Mrs. Perkins to smuggle two undercover policemen into the compound. That night as I lay on the living room couch in the staff house, I watched them take hundreds of pictures of dope deals with their infrared cameras. They did that for two nights and then started making busts at the third house. The guys were all bailed out quickly but the police said, "Don't worry. They will do that for awhile until the day they stand in front of judge looking at the fact that they are already out on bail for eight other charges and then you will never see them again.

In December my high school friend, Gary Rundell, came to visit and give me a ride home to Rochester for Christmas with my family. He stayed in the discipleship house for about a week and as we pulled out of the driveway to leave we saw many police cars descend on the third house. The trouble with the dealers was over.

Hitting the Road for Jesus

We had a nice trip across the country and Christmas with my family was always good. Dad was not sure what to make of my new partner the Rainbow Man. He was a big golfer and he and his friends watched the PGA on TV every weekend. I think he was wondering what all his friends would think of all this. This had a more immediate effect on his life than me running for president. It took a couple of weeks, but as soon as his golf buddies started saying, "Hey, I saw Bill on TV yesterday," in an approving manner, Dad was fine with my new adventure.

After New Years, I found myself with my thumb out in the dead of winter heading for Palm Springs. I had done a lot of hitchhiking in my life, but this was the first time I was hitchhiking on a trip that was so specifically for the Lord. I covered more than 2000 miles in two days. People picked me up right before sundown wanting help to drive through the night so they could be clear across the country by morning. That was to happen five more times in 1985.

When I got to Palm Springs, clouds were blocking the stars so I slept under the protective covering of a drive-thru bank. I knew I would be up before anyone came around and it would not bother anyone. The next day I found a flyer for a church service that night. After church a young man named John Solarie came over and said that as he looked across the congregation and saw me, he heard the Lord say, “Provide for that man.” He said he knew it must be the Lord because he would never use the word “provide.” We got my backpack out of the woods and I spent the night on John’s couch. He went to work in the morning and as he was shopping for dinner he wondered what I would eat when it came to him, "he will eat what is put before him." (Luke 10:8). It was a great meal - all part of God showing me that he had everything covered and this was going to be a good, pleasant, and spiritually productive ministry.

On Saturday, I did not know where to stand and I could not find Rollen. I just had no idea where to stand. I was not a golf fan (or even a sports fan) so I had never seen how Rollen got on TV. On Sunday, we met early and he had me stand behind the golfers on the tee shot at a par three 15th hole while he ran around the course chasing the leaders. Par 3 tee shots are the easiest shots to do. I just stood where I could look straight down the fairway in front of the golfer smiling into the camera behind the green. That would put the JOHN 3:16 T-shirt right in front of the golfer’s chest. Regulation play ended in a tie before Lanny Wadkins defeated Craig Stadler in a six hole playoff that included some really great golf shots. I learned to line up with the camera on just about any shot.

I was now ready for prime time, which was a good thing because Rollen had something else planned for the coming week and I was on my own. He told me to look for a golfer named Tom Lehman or his caddie Paul Anderson for help and I hitchhiked off to the Los Angles Open. When I got to the tournament parking lot I saw a man getting his clubs out of his trunk and asked. Do you know Tom Lehman?"

He said, "I am Tom Lehman." This was going to work.

Tom had been an All-American at the University of Minnesota, but he was relatively new to the PGA and still spent much of his time on the mini tour. However he was there for my first solo event and as soon as he saw that I was Rollen's new partner he gave me a badge to get in to the whole tournament. I hung out with Paul Anderson (also from Minnesota) most of the time and slept in my sleeping bag near his van at night.

Near the end of the previous season, Rollen had a meeting with PGA officials. They were being asked by the TV people to keep Rollen off of the course, but the PGA was unwilling to do that. They wanted to recognize his right to free speech while negotiating some of the details. The final agreement was that Rollen would 1) stop wearing the rainbow wig, 2) not carry a hand-held TV to line up shots and see how he was doing, 3) not use a small stepladder to stand above the crowd, and 4) not hold up signs. The next week Rollen showed up with a tall chef's hat that said REPENT. The PGA said that was not exactly what they meant and he shifted to a little visor with the same message.

Rollen had something else to do the next week so I went to the Los Angeles Open alone. He told me to look for Tom Lehman and he would give me a pass for the week. When I got to the player’s parking lot I saw a man taking golf clubs out of the trunk of his car and said, “Do you know Ton Lehman?” He said, “I am Tom Lehman.” This was going to work.

The Phoenix Open was next. As I watched them warm up at the putting green I met a tall redheaded Fellowship of Christian Athletes basketball coach who told me the Lord told him to come tell Jack Nichols that Jesus loves him. When he told that to the man at the entry gate, he let him in free. We waited until Jack finished putting practice and then, as he was walking toward the first tee, the tall man looked slightly down at him and said, “Jack, Jesus loves you.”

Jack nodded, “Thank you,” and walked on.

Jack missed the next tournament because he was at his father-in-law’s funeral. I guess God knew he was about to be thinking about eternal things and he wanted to send him a message.

By the end of 1985, I had hitchhiked about 30,000 miles, slept outdoors more than half of the time, placed JOHN 3:16 signs on 77 network television programs, and seen less than $3,500 pass through my hands.

1980 U.S. Open champion Larry Nelson paid Rollen's way over to the British Open where he also got on the TV coverage of the royal wedding between Charles and Dianna. As they appeared on the balcony, Rollen yelled, "Kiss her! Kiss her!" Charles did. In 1986, Larry provided funds for us to go to the World Cup Soccer in Mexico.

Someone had given me a Cadillac to drive and dwell. Rollen and his wife Elsie lived in their Toyota van. Right before we left for Mexico my car started sputtering and sometimes dying. The Cadillac dealer wanted $3500 to solve the problem. My friend, Dennis, suggested I see an old man who took care of his car. The old man listened a second and took a long tool with a magnet and reached into the motor to pull out a loose screw. Problem solved. I couldn't convince him to take any money.

A man at church the day before we left Dallas gave us contact information for his brother who was a missionary just outside of Mexico City. We stopped there first with the schedule of what cities we each would be going to and he had quite a few suggestions of Christians who would help us along the way. On our first day in Mexico City Rollen and Elsie were on the front page of the largest newspaper in the city. The headline said, "El famoso colorino de NFL futbol es en Mexico City!!!"

My favorite memory of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico was meeting about 30 young communists from Russia who were in the stands with a female cadre who was their chaperone. They were all dressed in the same new outfit with identical cameras and binoculars. I was wearing the rainbow wig and they all wanted to have their picture taken with me. They took turns – one or two would stand by me while the others took our picture and then they would trade places. The lady in charge kept saying, “No es necessario! No es necessario!” So I said, “Es necessario. Es necessario!” Finally, she used an angry firmer voice and made them all stop taking pictures. Then she got the police to take me into custody, but that only lasted a few minutes before they let me go back to putting signs on TV.

Mexico was great because the fans had a little better view if they went up a few rows - no one but us wanted the bottom rows. Besides being seen constantly by fans watching the games on TV, the signs were on the evening news every day for more than a month. I learned to say a few things in Spanish. “Le tu Biblia (read your Bible). Jesus te ama (Jesus loves you). When I saw a crowd of fans from Brazil, I would shout, “Brazil, numero dos! Brazil, numero dos!” (Brazil, number two.) When they turned on me in anger, I would shout, “Jesus, numero uno!” I’d point to the sky and they would all cheer!

1990 was the peak ministry year for me. Rollen, O.J. Curry, and I went to Italy to put signs on the World Cup Soccer. We got pretty good coverage in Italy, but the resistance was much greater than it was in Mexico. Rollen covered the northern part of the country; I was in the middle and O.J. was in the south.

I went to New Zealand for the British Commonwealth Games and to China for the Asian Games where I got Jesus Christ (Yesu Jidu) bold in the middle of television set all over the country.

Rollen's Testimony

Rollen was a hippie with a U-pick-it pot farm in Cle Elm, Washington, about 60 miles out of Seattle. He watched a lot of TV and he had a dream that if he wore a rainbow colored Afro wig and showed up at televised sporting events the cameras would pick him up and he could become a celebrity without going to casting calls. He could still have his privacy because no one would recognize him when he took off the wig. His first event was the 1977 NBA playoffs between Bill Walton's Portland Trailblazers and Dr. J's Philadelphia Warriors.

As he came out of the venue he heard a little girl say, "Daddy, there's that guy we just saw on TV!" He knew it was going to work.

Announcers began to say, "There's that guy. He's everywhere! He's everywhere!"

As the fame of the "Rainbow Man" spread, TV cameramen sought him out and their directors used his image every time he showed up at a game. He appeared in costume in a crowd scene at a bar in a Budweiser commercial and his act gradually became more risqué - finally wearing only a loincloth. He thought that if he became prosperous and famous he would be happy - but he wasn't. It all seemed so shallow.

The night after the 1980 Super Bowl he went back to his hotel tired and bummed out. The last resident had left the TV tuned to the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Rollen found himself watching Today in Bible Prophecy with Dr. Charles Taylor. Dr. Taylor was comparing today's headlines to Bible prophecy about wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, and the apparent rise of a world government. Dr. Taylor taught that this was all going to happen, but believers in Jesus would not have to worry about it because right before all that tribulation happens the believers were all going to be taken up into the sky in something called "THE RAPTURE."

Rollen took it all in and at the end of the show he got down on his knees and prayed to receive Jesus as his Lord and savior. Immediately he saw that he could promote his new faith by continuing to get on TV with a t-shirt that said "BELIEVE IN CHRIST JESUS". Dr. Taylor announced that he was going to Israel. Rollen went along and was baptized by Taylor in the Jordan River.

Rollen's first Christian witness was at the 1980 Miracle on Ice when the USA upset Russia to win the gold medal. Hockey moves fast and it is hard to see where to be, but there was a fight that held the cameras in one place long enough for Rollen to run around and get in the picture. As he was running down the aisle Jim McKay can be heard screaming, "There's that guy! He's everywhere; he's everywhere!" Rollen is sticking out his chest with the t-shirt message, "BELIEVE IN CHRIST JESUS."

Rollen's second appearance came at the Moscow Olympics. He set up in the stadium with a huge American flag on a long pole and told the cameramen (who by this time were old "friends") to have the blimp show a lone American flag being waved in the middle of the Olympics that were being boycotted by the Carter administration. As the camera zoomed in on the huge flag, Rollen slipped off his outer shirt revealing the message "JESUS SAVES" and suddenly there was the rainbow man flashing God's message all over the world!

When Rollen got back to the USA he found that all of his network "friends" were mad at him and would no longer put him on TV as they had for years. They felt like they had been betrayed them by introducing Jesus into the picture. Rollen's response was to study TV sports and seeing that golf was the only sport where regular fans could stand close enough to the athletes to be seen on TV. He began standing behind the golfers with the wig and the shirt. The word was getting out, but Nielsen Ratings were telling him that he could reach a lot more people on Monday Night Football. His study of the TV coverage told him that the prime spot for a sign would be the 20 yard lines. By then interaction with golf fans had shown him that beer drinking fans would mock the idea that Jesus Saves would not know what JOHN 3:16 meant and they would be curious.

For the first couple of years none of the team owners seemed to notice the JOHN 3:16 signs on the 20 yard line, but in the negotiation for a new TV contract ABC asked NFL representatives Tex Schramm (Dallas Cowboys) and Art Modell (Cleveland Browns) to stop Rollen from putting up the signs. That led to the scene in Dallas when security told Rollen there was a new league policy, but it was not really a league policy and about half of the owners did not interfere with our signs. This turned out to be a blessing because it led Rollen to come up with the idea of putting the signs in the end zone.

From the beginning Rollen and I had an ongoing disagreement about the "rapture" as opposed to needing to live without the mark of the beast. As he drove across the country he knew the location of every Christian radio station and when he could hear his favorite rapture teachers. He had all of their arguments down pat and although he was interested in all of the 666 logos that I showed him, he could not think of the possibility that any Christians could see that time. Every year Charles Taylor would come up with a new set of "prophecies" that would include things like "there is a 94% chance that the rapture will happen this year." Rollen always believed it would happen on the next Feast of Trumpets. He has believed this every year since 1980 and he still does.

When Edgar Whisenant wrote 88 Reasons Why the Rapture will be in 1988, Rollen bought into it figuratively and literally - he spent all of his money sending copies to everyone he knew and missed the 1988 Korean Olympics. When I got back from Korea, he was kind a repentant and said that he wanted us to think of me as the head of the ministry, but that thought only lasted a day or so.

We went out and put signs on the LA Dodgers World Series victory with Orel Hershiser. I loved that man. He signed the biggest contract in baseball history and tithed 80% of it - said he could only drive one car, live in one house, and eat so much. He was on the Johnny Carson show and Carson said that it looked like he was singing as he pitched one shutout after another. He asked what he was singing and after some prodding Oral sang, "Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him all creatures here below. Praise him above ye heavenly host; praise father, son and holy ghost." The whole audience joined in singing.

Rollen had fantasies about things like chaining himself to the goal post to stop the play so he could stop the play and get everyone to hear his message about the end times and the rapture. In 1989, he threw a live chicken onto the field at the World Series with a sign on it that said the world as we know it will end on whatever day he thought it would be that year.

That same year he had one of his greatest shots of all-time when the earthquake hit San Francisco during the World Series. Rollen dashed out to the parking lot where TV crews from all over town came because the only working electricity for broadcasting was with the power generators set up to broadcast the games. He quickly made a sign that said, "JOHN 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. And I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go ye know and the way ye know."

Looking back, the chicken was the beginning of his push to get the world to listen to his broader message and not just look up one verse at a time. He wrote a reverse psychology letter saying that there was no such thing as the end-times or the rapture and sent it (along with a stink bomb) to the Los Angeles Times and Trinity Broadcasting. In the letter, he listed all of the worst advocates of this false doctrine and named 8 or 10 of his favorite preachers including Charles Taylor, Hal Lindsey, Southwest Radio Church, and others. The idea was to get the media to interview those people to explain the letter. They did go to Hal Lindsey's office but he told them that he didn't talk to secular media.

Next, Rollen sent similar notes to the Orange County Register and Chrystal Cathedral. That led to all three LA network affiliates going to Charles Taylor's house and broadcasting his views locally but it was not picked up by the national news. Rollen felt he had to do something more dramatic so he headed to the Masters Golf tournament. By then I had moved to Atlanta and I got a call from him that he was coming across the country and I encouraged him to stop and see me. He must have gone right through Atlanta on I-20, but he didn't call.

When he got to the Master's in Augusta he put remote controlled air-horns in the trees so he could disrupt the tournament. I never did understand how he thought that would give him a chance to present his message. He tested it before play actually started and PGA security immediately realized it must be Rollen. They had the sheriff take him into custody, but the Master's people did not want any publicity so they just had Rollen sign a statement and let him go. A reporter from the Orange County Register heard about it and had the sheriff FAX him Rollen's statement to compare the handwriting to the letter that he had sent them. Now everyone knew Rollen was the mad stink bomber and they put him on America's Most Wanted - the whole country was looking for him!!!

As the media mocked the police for not being able to find one of the most widely known people in the country, Rollen was laying low in South Central LA. One day on a bus he saw a newspaper open to an article saying that a judge had ruled that a stink bomb was not a bomb - it was an odor and causing an odor is not a crime. He could have taken that to a lawyer and cleared up the whole stink bomb charge, but he had altered a check from an insurance company and he knew that was illegal and he owed them money.

Somehow, Rollen got the idea that if he took a maid hostage in the largest hotel leading to the LAX airport, the police, media, whoever, would let him rant on national TV about the "rapture" that was about to take place. This turned out to be a severe miscalculation and he got sentenced to three life terms for kidnapping. He has now been in prison for almost 30 years.

His health is failing and they are intentionally making his life as difficult as possible. He is 75 years old; his heart, lungs, and numerous internal organs are in bad shape; he has glaucoma and his sight is poor; his prostate gets him up in the middle of the night and the prison authorities refuse to honor a doctor's order that he should be in a lower bunk; he lacks the arm strength to get safely out of bed and he often falls from the top bunk. It is clear at parole hearing time that the main reason they will not let him out is that they fear he will return to putting signs on TV and they really don't want that.

The chaplain of the Brazilian World Cup champions had told me that I should replace JOHN 3:16 with JESUS SAVES when I do international events like the Olympics and World Cup Soccer because many people in the third world do not have access to Bibles and may not even know that JOHN 3:16 is a Bible verse, but everybody has some idea of who Jesus is.

Philip Haney

Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.

The Deep State just murdered my best friend, Philip Haney. Thirty years ago Phil swerved across five lanes of traffic to pick me up because I was hitchhiking in the JOHN 3:16 T-shirt that I wore on TV behind the PGA golfers. As we rode toward Florida, we shared our common vision of how things were going with Jesus and the end-times. We both were aware that the Body of Christ was going to have to get ready for a time of persecution and prepare to live without the Mark of the Beast. At that time Phil was working for a pesticide company teaching farmers how to find the nest of the varmints that were eating their crops. He would then take 1% of the pesticide that would normally be sprayed on the field and put it in the nest at mating time.

When Phil was a young Christian, he saw that the central issue of our time was going to be the conflict between Israel and her neighbors – so he learned to read and speak Hebrew and Arabic and began tracking what they were saying to their own people. It is said that nothing Yasser Arafat said in English could be regarded as a commitment until he said it to his own people in their language.

In the late 1990s Phil gave me a CD with all of the documents of the conflict going back to the Zionist conference that made the original decision to go back to Israel. At that time Georgia Senator Max Cleland was trying to get the FBI or someone to hire Phil to visit all of the Mosques in the country and just present himself as an inquirer and see where people were really wanting to be Americans and where the emphasis was on overthrowing the government and establishing sharia law. He envisioned a book on the state of Islam in America. That whole idea died when Saxby Chambliss defeated Max Cleland in the 2002 election – but God had a better plan.

Phil’s career was that of a scientist. An entomologist to be precise. The Bible says we are to study the ants and Phil took that seriously. He was a class or two from a PhD in entomology when he left to do other research. Somewhere in my files I have a list of Phil’s papers published in scientific journals or presented to scientific conferences – it was about four pages of fine print. He had been in the field advising farmers in at least 25 different countries – many in the Middle East. He knew his way around those countries and he had established rapport with the common people.

Soon after we met, Phil settled into doing research with the USDA in Tifton, Georgia, and then came up to Atlanta to supervise all the greenhouse inspectors in Georgia. Greenhouse operators would call him when they were having problems with bugs or disease and Phil would tell them what to do. He said they thought he knew everything and he did know a lot, but often he would find the answer to their problem on the Internet while they were on the phone. I would stop by to chat about once a week. During this time Philip was also writing A History of the Boll Weevil Eradication Program in the United States for the National Cotton Council.

When Philip was passed over for a promotion that he had been promised before he even took the job with the Georgia Department of Agriculture, he called friends at USDA and they said they could get him more money to go out to Hartsfield Airport and inspect imported fruit, vegetables, and flowers to make sure they were not bringing in any bugs or diseases. Phil had a new job. At the airport there were 18 guys in Phil’s department and 85% of the problems discovered were discovered by Phil – no one else knew as much about what to look for. Then as JOC says something happened, the Department of Homeland Security was formed, and Phil’s little piece of the Agriculture Department was made part of it because they were at the airport and dealing with international matters.

Philip took an oath to protect the country from all enemies foreign and domestic – he took it seriously and he regarded it as a lifelong commitment – not just a job. Later when we went to Washington D.C. we went to the Lincoln Memorial where he took me to the inscription Philip’s favorite Lincoln quote: “The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate for the stormy present the occasion is piled high with difficulties but we must rise to the occasion and as our case is new so we must think anew, we must act anew we must disenthrall ourselves and then we shall save our country – the last best hope on earth.

At first DHS didn’t know who Phil was – they thought he was just another agriculture guy. Then he wrote a paper identifying all of the Hamas front groups in the world and how their leadership interlocked. He named the 84 men that were at the core of the jihad 365 men who formed the next circle around them. As I recall it took him about 4 months to get his boss to let the article be placed on an intelligence community website. Within an hour Phil got a call from the top man in the Treasury Department in charge of freezing terrorist assets saying, “Wow, man, where have you been all my life, I love you.”

You would think that the American intelligence community would be glad to see that they had such a good helper available to them, but that was not the case. The CIA began investigating him because they thought he must have used classified information to produce such an amazing paper. They could have just asked. He got everything from “open sources” that any diligent civilian could have accessed and after much travail and two investigations, they finally asked him and he showed them where he got all of the information.

He could see that in order to do the work God was calling him to do he would have to get cross trained in Customs and Immigration and become an armed officer. That was all going to take a couple of years, but he did everything he had to do and passed all classes with flying colors – often being asked to teach the classes he had just taken.

Finally, he worked his way over to where he could interview passengers coming into and going out of the country. He would “create records” of people who seemed worthy of additional attention. My favorite example was the man who arrived at his desk with a diplomatic passport from Pakistan. He was a member of the parliament. Phil asked if he was an imam and he said he was. Phil asked what party he was in and he answered. Under Pakistani law a woman who says she was raped must be able to produce four male witnesses on her behalf or SHE goes to prison!!! There are more women in prison for this offense than for any other. This man was a member of the party that stopped the government from changing that incredible law.

Philip had to let him into the country because of the diplomatic passport, but in less than half an hour he sent the FBI YouTube video of the man calling for DEATH TO ALL AMERICANS in the street in front of his hometown mosque. He told them when the man would be getting off of the plane in Houston and suggested they follow him and find out who he came to see and why. It’s like following the ants to the nest – it creates a dot and connects it to other dots. Most likely the people he was coming to see were people that Philip and the FBI already knew.

Philip had created about 800 such records when he got an order from above to go through all of his records and disconnect all of the dots. He was to remove any references to terrorist, jihad, sharia law, or anything else that might offend the delicate sensibilities of the Muslim Brotherhood member on whose computer the memo was actually written! Philip went through a serious crisis at that time as he considered the idea of refusing the order, but he knew that if he did that they would just have someone else do it and the records would all be lost. He decided to make all of the alterations they requested but keep the truth on his personal thumb drives.

About 120 of those records concerned the Islamic Society of Boston. When the bomb went off at the Boston Marathon, Philip didn’t know the brothers who did it, but he did know who would have sent them. When a radio talk show host (I think it was Glenn Beck) gave the name, the government began a new investigation of Philip.

From news article in the Washington Examiner soon after Phil was killed

Haney was recently in contact with DHS officials about a possible return to the agency, the Washington Examiner reported, adding that he was also engaged to be married.

In June 2016, Haney testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he alleged that the Obama-era DHS had ordered him to delete hundreds of files about reputed associates of Islamic terrorist groups. Haney made the case that several attacks in the U.S. could have been prevented if some of the files had not been deleted, the Examiner reported.

Writing in The Hill in February 2016, Haney claimed Obama had thrown the U.S. intelligence community "under the bus" for failing to "connect the dots" after a Nigerian Muslim terror suspect was linked to a failed terror plot on Christmas Day in 2009.

"Most Americans were unaware of the enormous damage to morale at the Department of Homeland Security, where I worked, his condemnation caused,” referring to Obama. "His words infuriated many of us because we knew his administration had been engaged in a bureaucratic effort to destroy the raw material — the actual intelligence we had collected for years, and erase those dots. The dots constitute the intelligence needed to keep Americans safe, and the Obama administration was ordering they be wiped away." Haney, who worked for DHS for about 15 years, was also the author of "See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government's Submission to Jihad."

In November, Haney contacted the Examiner about plans to publish a sequel to the book, Haney, who retired in 2015, studied Arabic culture and language while working as a scientist in the Middle East before becoming a founding member of DHS in 2002 as a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agriculture officer.

After serving as an armed CBP officer, he was promoted to its Advanced Targeting Team. He specialized in Islamic theology and the strategy and tactics of the global Islamic movement.

It tells the story of what he learned and the lengths they went to try to stop him from telling. He apparently has another book coming out soon.

That’s all for now.

God bless,

11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
