The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer

My brother was facing heart surgery during the first week in November, and I saw in a vision that he died on the operating table. My brother didn't need to know what I saw. I called my cousin Bill to pray for Dick. One of Bill's prayer team members saw the same vision and prayed against the spirit of death until the Lord brought a spirit of peace. I was praying against the spirit of death also. Dick came through the surgery and went to work this week. When I told Bill that my brother was doing fine, he shared the vision that a team member had. Christians who pray have the power to turn disaster into victory.

Twenty three years ago I had a vision while mowing our yard. It terrified me. I came into the house and told my wife about the vision. She said we do not need to accept the results, and prayed until we received a release.

The Lord has many ways to get our attention. We may have had a dream, vision, word of knowledge, prophesy or any other way the Lord wants to show us something about a circumstance or an event. The good news is that we don't have to accept it. We can pray.
