The Nature of Excellence

The Nature of Excellence

Dear Friends,

“Excellence,” said Aristotle, “is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”

In order to be excellent, it’s important that we possess characteristics such as integrity, commitment, passion, truth, courage and teamwork. It’s important that we make a habit of daily acting out these characteristics. And it’s important that we find motivation to keep us on the road of excellence.

Let’s look at inspirational quotes from those who have achieved excellence within their fields of endeavor. May the timeless wisdom spoken in the Book of Proverbs accelerate your journey toward excellence!
