Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

John 15:11 (NKJV)

"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy my remain in you, and your joy may be full."

Abba Father You gave us Jesus so that in the face of the world we might rest comfortably through the night, Your words flowed through Peter assuring us that we could lay at Your feet every worldly concern confident that Your compassion for us trumped them all, Your truth was spoken by Paul that the world and all of its nastiness is squashed beyond recognition by Your peace which Jesus has placed within each of us, and Jesus once more proclaims that His joy overflows in each of us and obliterates any and all things the world has to offer; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus, who gives us His peace and His joy that we pray.
