3 John 2 (NKJV)

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

There are so many great things about this scripture beginning with the recognition of John that we are loved by God (John 3:16 and Ephesians 1:4) followed by his recognition that life abundant (John 10:10) and health (Matthew 8:16) are directly connected to the prospering of our souls - our words, our thoughts, our emotions, and our will.

Abba Father may our words be Your words (John 15:7), may our thoughts approach Your thoughts (Proverbs 16:3), may our emotions be Your emotions (John 13:34, John 14:27, John 15:11), and may our will be subject and obedient to Your will (John 4:34); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
