God's Promises for You

November 7, 2015

1 John 2:12 & 13 (NKJV)
I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His names sake. I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

John 1:1 (NKJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1 John 5:4 & 5 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

John 17:25 & 26 (NKJV)
"O righteous Father! The world has has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."

Abba, Father You so loved us that before the world ever began You chose us to be Your beloved children, holy and without blame, adopted as sons and daughters by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:4 & 5, John 3:16), we are more than conquerors because of Your great love (Romans 8:37), and we have overcome the evil one by the words of our testimony and the blood of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus (Revelation 12:11) and it  is in His glorious name, the name above all names, that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
