God's Promises for You

November 23, 2015

1 Corinthians 13:4 - 8a (NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

Ephesians 3:14 - 19 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Colossians 3:12 - 15 (NKJV)
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy, and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving

Philippians 4:4 - 7 (NKJV)
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Abba, Father You so loved the world that You gave Your only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For You did not send Your Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world though Him might be saved (John 3:16 & 17), may we with thankful hearts pray continually, confident that You are our Father and that we are Your beloved children and that we may come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
