Cami's Story

Please enjoy reading Cami's Story at the end of God's Promises

Since January 22, 1973 nearly 60 million innocent unborn children have been aborted in the United States

There have been almost 1.5 Billion abortions in the world since 1980

Day Fifty - One

1 Timothy 6:11 & 12a (NKJV)
But you, O man (woman) of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith.

For the man or woman considering the abortion of an innocent unborn child this is simply listening to the voice of their Father and placing their trust in Him, as did Cami's mother and grandmother (Mark 11:22)

Day Fifty -Two

Hebrews 11:7 (NKJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he (she) who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

He is and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Revelation 21:3 & 4 - Cami's mother and grandmother believed this and their reward was Cami and her two beautiful children

Day Fifty - Three

Hebrews 12:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him (our lives and the lives of our children) endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the fight hand of the throne of God.

The choice to abort an innocent unborn children is murder, it is a sin, the woman and man can lay that sin aside, they do not have to fall into the snare of the devil, they can choose Jesus, the can add to the family of our Father

Day Fifty - Four

Hebrews 13:5b &6 (NKJV)
For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say, "The Lord is my Helper; I will not fear what man can do to me?"

When the evils of this world encroach upon your life, do as Cami's mother and grandmother did and boldly proclaim, "We will not fear what man can do to us for Jesus is our Helper!"

Day Fifty - Five

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Whether you are Peter who dared to get out of the boat in the midst of the storm and walk on the water because Jesus commanded him to come or the young woman who has been abandoned by the man who made her pregnant, you can do all things through Jesus who strengthens you

February 25, 2017
Day Fifty - Six

Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him (her), "If you can believe, all things are possible to him (her) who believes."

Whether man or woman, when faced with the evils of this world the most important question to be answered is, "Do you believe in Jesus?" and do you know how very, very much He loves you?

Day Fifty - Seven

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Jesus promises rest to the weary, He is the lifter of your chin, in His eyes there is His love and His forgiveness and both he freely gives to you without condition

February 27, 2017
Day Fifty - Eight

Romans 8:37 - 39 (NKJV)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The devil wants you to believe that you are unworthy, but Jesus had a much better plan, when He was on the cross you were on His mind

Day Forty - Nine

Philippians 3:13b and 14 (NKJV)
But one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward for those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

With Jesus it is not about what you have done or where you have been, but rather it is about what you can do and where you can go with Jesus

Day Sixty

John 3:17 (NKJV)
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), Jesus is love and life eternal (John 3:16)

Abba, Father You commanded - "You shall not murder!" (Exodus 20:13) and yet every day women around the world make a choice to prematurely end the life of an innocent unborn child, with great thanks we pray Your unconditional love and forgiveness over the women who have made or have considered making these choices and the men who encourage them to do so, we also pray that women and men throughout the world will make the correct choice, that they will know Your Son Jesus Christ and that their eyes of understanding will be enlightened to the hope of His calling, the glory of His inheritance and the exceeding greatness of His power toward those who believe in Him; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus, the One who gives us life, that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

He did not know me, but he hated me. In fact, he tried to kill me and I could not even defend myself. A woman in a flannel nightgown, her mother, a caring neighbor and Jesus defended me. The Lord says that even when my father or mother forsake me, He (Jesus) will take me up. The word forsake means to renounce, cast aside, or abandon, my father forsook me. Jesus took me up.

My father and mother married when my mother was 17. My father owned a country and western bar in town and enjoyed the lifestyle that came with it. My mother was beautiful and an award winning western dancer. In the first year of their marriage my mother became pregnant and while my mother was overjoyed, my father was furious. From the moment he knew of me, he hated me, I represented to him the end of freedom to enjoy the lifestyle he loved.

Once my father knew of me he plotted to have me killed. My mother was young and he thought she would easily go along with his plan to abort me. What he did not realize was that from the time she was a small child her parents had been building in her a firm spiritual foundation based on God's Truth.

My mother turned away every suggestion my father made to abort me. Then my father threatened my mother with divorce and she became afraid, how would she be able to take care of a new born baby? Maybe she should agree to the abortion she thought. So she went to my aunt (her sister) for advice and my aunt said under no circumstances should she have an abortion, together as a family they would make it by trusting God.

My father filed for divorce and my mother moved in with her parents (my grandparents). During this time my father continued to come around trying to get my mother to go with him to a clinic and have an abortion. He even tried to bribe my mother with offers of gifts if she would have the abortion. Many times my grandfather would have to chase my father away and one time when my father refused to leave my grandfather had him arrested.

Through all this my mother (6 and 1/2 months pregnant) was still in love with my father and hopeful that he would have a change of heart. One night my father called and told my mother that he wanted to get back together. He asked her to come over to his house to discuss reconciliation. My mother, however, was ready for bed wearing her favorite flannel night gown so she asked my grandmother to drive her over to his house so she could meet with my father. When they got to my father's house, my mother got out of the car and went to the front door, but just before she knocked the Holy Spirit stopped her. As she turned to go back to the car the front door opened and my father grabbed her by the hair and drug her into the house. By the time my grandmother got into the house my father was punching and kicking my mother in the stomach in an attempt to force the abortion. My grandmother, much like Jesus on the Cross, fell upon my mother and covering us with her body, she took for us the punches and kicks my father intended for my abortion.

The commotion alerted a neighbor and she called the police and when they arrived they found both my mother and my grandmother badly beaten and rushed them to the hospital. Upon admittance it was discovered that I had no heartbeat, my mother was told that I was possibly dead and for 12 hours my mother laid in the hospital bed praying for my life. Jesus came that I would have life and have it more abundantly and today I am very much alive with two beautiful children. Life and death is in the power of the tongue and I was blessed to have a mother, an aunt, and a grandmother that all spoke life.

In Jesus we have God's unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness, in Jesus there is no condemnation, just love and forgiveness. God gives each of us the ability to make choices, He asks only that we be guided by His Word and He gives us the Holy Spirit to guide us in His truth. A woman can make a choice to have an abortion but in doing so she is making a choice to destroy the life of an innocent unborn child, a child God has created for good. Please, make a choice for life and please continue to pray -  Help stop the abortion of innocent unborn children today.
