The Book of Acts

Acts 1:13 & 14(NKJV)
And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew;James the son of Aphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Acts 2:1 - 4 (NKJV)
When the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 3:1 - 7 (NKJV)
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.  And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful,  to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us." So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones  bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them - walking, leaping, and praising God.

Acts 4:8 - 10 (NKJV)
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him, this man stands before you whole."

Acts 5:29 - 32 (NKJV)
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."

Abba, Father may we this day and every day here after strive to walk in a manner most pleasing to You, as demonstrated by Your beloved sons Peter and John; one accord with all who believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior, filled with the Holy Spirit, daily in direct communication with You; always prepared, as instructed by You to share Your supernatural power with those in need; never failing to share the Gospel Truth that You so loved the world that You gave Your only begotten Son that whoever would believe in Him would not parish but have everlasting life; it is in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ who came that we would have Life and Life more abundantly that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
