Matthew 10:37 - 39 (NKJV)
"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."

Jesus gets down with us, we are not to place anything or anyone above our relationship with Him, the stronger our relationship with Him, the stronger our relationship will be with others, but Jesus must always remain the center of our lives

2 Corinthians 5:17 - 21 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us a ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Because we believe in Jesus,  because we stand on God's word, because we are filled with His Holy Spirit, we are Him and His desire for us is for others to see Him in us

Abba, Father Your Apostle Paul said he had learned to be content no matter the worldly circumstances of life and then he said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:11 - 13), it is never us but always Him in us that glorifies You; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Matthew 5:43 - 46 (NKJV)
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you; what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?"

Proverbs 25:22 & 23 (NKJV)
If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for so you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the LORD will reward you.

Romans 12:21 (NKJV)
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Abba, Father may we this day and every day forward be obedient to Your commandment that we love all others as You have loved us (John 13:34 & 35), that we will be recognizable as Your disciples; it is in the name of our Lord  and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Galatians 5:22 - 25 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh and its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Colossians 3:12 - 14 (NKJV)
Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, patience; bearing with one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above, all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

1 Corinthians 13:4 - 8a (NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, things no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

Abba, Father for You so loved us that You gave us Jesus (John 3:16), Your love is the bond of perfection (Colossians 3:14), Your love for us casts out all fear (1 John 4:18) and we walk in in Your love because You loved us first (1 John 4:19); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice in Your love and pray. Amen.

John 1:12 & 13 (NKJV)
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, not of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

It is the will of our Father that we be His children,  that we are His family, today, tomorrow, and forever

Abba, Father You loved us and gave us Jesus and because we believed in Him we became Your family (Romans 8:15 - 17) and Your Family forever (John 3:16), this is Your will for us and has been Your will for us since before the world began (Ephesians 1:4 & 5); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Jude 20 & 21 (NKJV)
But you beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Romans 8:26 & 27 (NKJV)
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18 (NKJV)
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Prayer does not need to be difficult, it is simply a conversation between you and your Father - His Spirit will intercede on your behalf, both to give clarity to your words and reveal to you the will of God

Abba, Father You direct us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make our request known to You (Philippians 4:6 & 7) and You tell us to give You all our cares because You care for us (1 Peter 5:6 &7), we are so thankful that we have Your Spirit who guides us in all truth (John 16:13); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Corinthians 14:2 - 4 (NKJV)
For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

Ephesians 1:17 - 19 (NKJV)
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding  being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

When you pray relax and allow the Holy Spirit to take over, allow Him to place His words upon your lips, words that will bypass the deceptive worldly clutter that all too often fills our mind and He will replace the clutter with the thoughts of Your Father that will give you truth filled direction which in turn will give divine purpose to your life

Abba, Father how awesome it is that Your Son Jesus, before He returned to be atYour right hand, prayed that you would give us a Helper to be by our side and give us understanding, wisdom and daily direction as we journey through life here on this earth (John 14:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

John 15:4 & 5 (NKJV)
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

Ephesians 3:14 - 20 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Abide in Jesus - Be intimate with Him - Be filled with His Spirit - Be rooted and grounded in His love - Be filled with the fullness of your Father - Embrace His power that is within you and receive with thanksgiving His bountiful blessings

Abba, Father this day and each day forward we are filled with Your Spirit, guided in all truth (John 16;13), fulfilling Your purpose for our lives, walking in a manner pleasing to You (Philippians 3:14 and Colossians 1:10); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Philippians 2:9 - 11 (NKJV)
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 19:11 - 16 (NKJV)
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold,  a white horse. And He who sat on Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

Each of us as we journey through life has a choice and God our Father urges each of us to make that choice - JESUS

Abba, Father in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with You, and the Word was You (John 1:1) and He was the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the You except through Him (John 14:6), may this be the day that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and choose Jesus to be their Lord and their Savior; it is in His glorious and wonderful name that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Philippians 3:8 - 10 (NKJV)
Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed by His death.

Ephesians 1:17 - 19 (NKJV)

What is most important in your life, may I suggest that being intimate with Jesus should be

Abba, Father the Apostle Paul said, "I have learned to be content," (Philippians 4:11), content in His relationship with His Lord Jesus Christ, may we this day and every day strive to intimately know Jesus that we may be content and at peace in Your love and filled with Your power; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Matthew 15:29 - 31 (NKJV)
Jesus departed from there, skirted the sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

Over 2000 years ago Jesus walked this earth purposed to give life to those who came to Him and to give them life more abundantly - those who laid at the feet of Jesus saw positive change in their lives from the inside out and they became a testimony to the glory of God (John 10:10)

Hebrews 12:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of God.

Today Jesus is alive seated at the right hand of God and His Spirit resides in us (John 14:17) and He is purposed today just as He was yesterday to give us who come to Him life and to give us life more abundantly, and those of us who choose to lay ourselves at His feet are healed and made whole from the inside out and we become a testimony to the glory of God (John 10:10)

Abba, Father Your Son Jesus simply said, "I will come and heal!" (Matthew 8:7) and Your Apostle Paul simply said, "Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power and goes about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil for You are with Him!" (Acts 10:38); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 John 4:4 (NKJV)
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

I once had a tee shirt and on the front it said, "No Fear," and on the back it proclaimed, "God is Near!"

As we journey through life it is important for us to know:

Who God is - Our Creator (Genesis 1), Our Father (Matthew 6:9)

Who we are - His children (Romans 8:15 - 17)

Abba, Father You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

Colossians 1:10 & 11(NKJV)
That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy.

The words of Paul and the words of Jesus - Apply them Daily!

Abba, Father we have been chosen by You and appointed to go forth and bear fruit and our fruit will be known (John 15:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Join us for the National Day of Prayer as every individual has a need for personal repentance and to pray for our community and nation. This is based on our understanding that the USA was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

Ephesians 1:2 & 3 (NKJV)
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

There is no fear in our journey through life with Jesus, we are set apart from the world and all of its wickedness, there may be trials and tribulations but we stand tall above the fray because Jesus our Lord has overcome the world and daily He gives us His peace (John 14:27 and John 16:33)

Ephesians 5:8 - 11 (NKJV)
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

As His children we are called to imitate Him and walk as he showed us to walk (Ephesians 5:1 & 2), for He is life and our light (John 1:4) and we are delivered from darkness and walk pleasing to Him (Colossians 1:10 - 14)

Abba, Father Your Son Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) and  because we have Him there is need for none other; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:18 (NKJV)
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

You have just finished putting on God's Armor, you are well equipped for battle because your heart is filled with God's Word, only one other thing to do, call on Your Helper - the Holy Spirit - allow Him to intercede on your behalf - let there be no doubt that our Father hears and acts upon your request

1John 5:14 & 15 (NKJV)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Abba, Father we lay our petitions at the foot of the cross, confident that You both hear and act upon our request (John 14:14); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

A question was asked, "What does it mean to be a new creation in Christ Jesus?" You do not have to read much further to begin to find out.

Verses 18 and 19 tell us that we are being reconciled to God, Romans 8:15 - 17 tells us we are His family and Ephesian 1:4 & 5 tells us that is His will and was His plan from before the foundation of the world

Verse 20 tells us that we are ambassadors created new to draw others to Jesus; and verse 21 tells us that we have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus

And that is just the beginning, each and every day with Jesus we become spiritually stronger in Him being prepared and perfected for life forever in His presence

Abba, Father You are our God and we are Your people and family we will be forever (Revelation 21:3); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Colossians 1:9 & 10 (NKJV)
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filed with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, full pleasing to Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 (NKJV)
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every God work.

John 1:1 - 4 (NKJV)
In the  beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Word = Him = Jesus

Jesus Christ - He is Lord of all

Abba, Father through Your Spirit and Your Son we are daily strengthened with Your might according to Your glorious power (Colossians 1:11), we can do all things through You who give us strength (Philippians 4:13) and because we believe in You all things are possible (Mark 9:23); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

John 4:23 & 24 (NKJV)
"But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

In 1994, I attended Lakewood Church and I saw Pastor John Osteen thrust his Bible above his head and boldly proclaim, "This is my Bible, I am what it says I am, I can have what it says I can have, and I can be what it says I can be." And for the first time in my life I saw a man unafraid to recognize God's truth in the face of the lies of the world.

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak and He will tell you things to come."

In 2009 three men were sitting in Chick-fil-a fresh from morning prayer and one man thrust his Bible above his head and boldly proclaimed, "This is the truth and all else is senseless noise."

Abba, Father, Your Son boldly proclaimed, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6), the time has come for all men who call themselves by the name
of Jesus to boldly proclaim Your truth so that the lies of the world will be forever defeated; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV)

Jude 1:20 & 21 (NKJV)
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV)
Know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

The only way we will truly know how much God loves us, the only way we will truly be filled with His fullness is by hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth and tells us things to come (John 16:13)

Abba, Father this is a good morning to simply say, "Thank You!" Thank You for Your Son Jesus who leads us by example and thank You for Your Holy Spirit who tells us the truth and nothing but the truth; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

John 14:12 (NKJV)
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

Revelation 12:10 & 11(NKJV)
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

Holy Spirit Power - It in us will overcome the wickedness of this world and many, many will come to know the Way, the Truth, and the Life, our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ (John 14:6)

Abba, Father in answer to His prayer You gave us Your Holy Spirit that we might know Your truth and fully follow Your Son, our Lord, our Savior Christ Jesus (John 14:16 & 17 and John 16:13) and that we might fulfill Your upward call on our lives in Him (Philippians 3:14); it is in His glorious name that we rejoice and pray. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bear witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we also may be glorified together.

Ephesians 1:3 - 5 (NKJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will.

Matthew 6:9 (NKJV)
"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name."

Is it not amazingly wonderful that when Jesus taught us how to pray that He instructed us to pray to our Father not His Father putting an exclamation point on the truth that we are sons and daughters of God, His beloved children, joint heirs with His Son Jesus Christ to His kingdom

A question that is often asked in the Christian community is "What is God's will for my life?" and the answer is straightforward and simple -  God wants us to be His family, His children, and for us to enjoy all of His benefits

Abba, Father we believe that Jesus is the Christ and therefore we are born of  You and by this we believe that we overcome the world by our faith and belief that Jesus is Your Son (1 John 5:1 - 5); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus who gives us the victory that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
