Genesis 1:1 - 3 (NKJV)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

John 1:1 - 4 (NKJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

1 Samuel 17:36 & 37 (NKJV)
"Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and the uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God." Moreover David said, "The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from  the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and the LORD be with you."

And God said to David:

Psalm 91:14 - 16 (NKJV)
"Because you have set your love upon Me, therefore I will deliver you; I will set you on high, because you have known My name. You shall call upon Me, and I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble, I will deliver you and honor you. With long life I will satisfy you, and show you My salvation."

Abba, Father as Your Son instructed our faith, our trust must be in You, there is absolutely nothing of this world that can come against us when we believe in You, by faith we simply cast it into the deepest ocean never to be concerned again, for when we pray we believe that we receive the things we pray for and we will have them (Mark 11:22 - 24); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

John 16:7 - 11 (NKJV)
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Jesus who washed us in His love and His forgiveness

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus who made us whole in the sight of our Father

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Jesus the Lord of lords and the King of kings

Abba, Father You gave us Your Spirit that we would know the truth and You gave us Your Spirit that we would know Your purpose for our lives (John 16:7); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:114 - 19 (NKJV)
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

As Born again Spirit filled believer's in Jesus Christ is not that our passion - to be filled and overflowing with all of our Father

Romans 8:37 - 39 (NKJV)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are Conquerors not captives - We are Victors not victims

In Jesus we have Victory - never do we have defeat

Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Abba, Father for You so loved us that You gave Your Son that we who believe in Him would not perish but would live forever as Your children, joint heirs with Your Son to Your kingdom (John 3:16, Romans 8:15 - 17) and in Your love we have been empowered with Your Spirit; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Matthew 14:14 (NKJV)
And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Matthew 14:19 - 21 (NKJV)
The He (Jesus) commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. and He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and werefilled, and they took up twelve baskets full of fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children (20,000+).

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
And my God shall supply your every need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

It is the devil who goes around stealing your peace, killing your joy, and destroying your life and life's of those around you - It is Jesus who came so that you would have life, have life abundantly, and have life eternal - John 10:10 and John 3:16

Abba, Father we have set our love upon You, we know Your name and You have delivered us and set us on high, when we call on You, You answer, You honor us and satisfy us with long life and show us Your Salvation (Psalm 91:14-16); it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, our Healer, our Protector, and our Provider Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

John 14:12 (NKJV)
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

Acts 5:12 - 16 (NKJV)
And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Matthew 14:35 & 36 (NKJV)
And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.

Acts 3:3 - 10 (NKJV)
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask for alms from those who entered the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us." So he gave his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them - walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

The man who sat begging for alms but instead received the supernatural healing of his body was over 40 years old and had never walked a day in his life (Acts 4:22) - Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power (Acts 10:38) and so have we been anointed with the Holy Spirit and power (John 14:12 & 16,17)

Abba, Father Jesus said it plain and simple, "If we can believe, all things are possible to us who believe," (Mark 9:23) and as the father of the child replied with tears in his eyes, "Lord I believe, help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24), may our spirit be strengthened with the power of  Your Spirit so that we will be obedient to Your instruction and do also the works that You have done; it is in the name of our Lord, our Savior, and our Healer Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I once heard a Pastor say this, "There is no neutral position in the above scripture, no resting place, no time to relax and take a deep breath, every choice we make either pleases God or pleases the devil, but it is our choice."

The Apostle Paul gave us these instructions:

Romans 12: 9 - 18 (NKJV)
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

Abba, Father as Your beloved children may we be imitators of You, may we walk in love as Jesus has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to You for a sweet-smelling aroma (Ephesians 5:1 & 2); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Galatians 5:19 - 21 (NKJV)
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, reveries, and the like; of which I tell your beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The devil wants to convince you that works of your flesh are natural byproducts of your past, an angry father, an addicted mother, a perverted relative who molested you, that it is not your fault, but that is just a lie, and he is the father of all lies

Galatians 5:22 - 24 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

You have a choice and your choice is Jesus and when you choose Jesus you receive the FRUIT of the Spirit, not just love, not just joy, not just peace, but the entire package - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - You are no longer who you used to be, you are now who He says you are

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Abba, Father we choose this day to humbly and obediently follow Jesus, to walk worthy of Him, fully pleasing Him, fruitful in every good work and daily increasing in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:10); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.

2 Peter 1:5 - 8 (NKJV)
But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, and to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3:17 - 19 (NKJV)
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may b filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 1:17 - 19 (NKJV)
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His might power.

Abba, Father may we strive daily to strengthen our relationship with You, may our hearts be filled and overflowing with Your words, that we be the benefit of Your bountiful blessings, that You will be glorified in our relationship with You, our lives will be fruitful, and all will know that we are Your disciples (John 15:7 & 8); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:21 (NKJV)
What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

The Corinthians had grown proud and arrogant, the had strayed far the humble and obedient spirit of the early church, much like we today, and Paul was on a mission to guide them back on God's path

Jesus gives us and Paul the answer:

John 13:34 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."

And Paul added these words of encouragement:

Galatians 5:22 & 23 (NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such their is no law.

The fruit of our Holy Spirit we do not work for but rather we receive God's gift when we embrace and accept the help of the Helper (John 14:16 & 17)

Abba, Father may we daily embrace Your Spirit, may our hearts be filled and overflowing with Your fruit, may we love others as You have loved us, may we be a Light into the darkness and a Magnet unto You, empowered by Your Spirit; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray.

Zephaniah 2:3 (NKJV)
Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger.

And then we knew Jesus

James 4:10 (NKJV)
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus (John 3:16) who is, was, and always will be, the Truth, the Life, and the only Path that leads to forever in Your presence (John 14:6); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Galatians 6:1 & 2 (NKJV)
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

John 13:34 & 35 (NKJV)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

John 15:12 - 14 (NKJV)
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you."

Abba, Father You so loved the world that You gave us Jesus that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but would live forever as Your child; may we be Your obedient children and love others as You have loved us; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Proverbs 16:18 - 20 (NKJV)
Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.

1 Peter 5:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He might exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

Proverbs 3:5 & 6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all you heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Many of our troubles come when we think we have a better plan

Abba, Father You are our Shepherd, in You we will trust and follow; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Samuel 26:23 & 24 (NKJV)
May the LORD repay every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered you into my hand today, but I would not stretch out my hand against the LORD's anointed. And indeed, as your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the LORD, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.

Saul had vowed to kill David and David had the opportunity to kill Saul, but instead he choose to honor God and allow God to be the righteous judge.

Peter had this to say about Jesus:

1 Peter 2:23 & 24 (NKJV)
Who when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.

We have a Father who heals us from the inside out, He gives us His joy and His peace, He loves us and forgives us without question and adopts as His children, He walks with us in our earthly journey His protective right arm always on our shoulder, all things are possible in His strength, never do we have a need to seek revenge or retaliate

1 Peter 1:18 & 19 (NKJV)
Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Jesus who said, "Not as I will, but as You will."

2 Timothy 2:11 & 12 (NKJV)
This a faithful saying: For if we died with Him we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we will also reign with Him.

His promise is good, His promise is truth, and His promise is forever

Abba, Father we believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, we believe that He was crucified, dead, and buried, the perfect sacrifice that redeemed us from the darkness of the world, we believe that He was without sin and was made to be sin so that we would be righteous in Your sight, we believe that Your Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead, that He lives and sits in heaven at Your right hand to rule forever, He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, He is the name above all names, the name to which all knees will bow and all tongues will confess, we believe He is our Savior, He is Lord of all, we believe that through Him we have life, life abundant, and life forever, and we believe we are Your children, forever Your family; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

2 Corinthians 10:3 - 6 (NKJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Ephesians 6:10 - 13 (NKJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.

No matter what the world throws our way we have no fear because our Father is with us (Joshua 1:9), Jesus has overcome the world on our behalf (John 16:33), we possess the Sword of the Spirit, God's Word (Ephesians 6:17) and we overcome the world with our faith because we believe that Jesus is God's Son (1 John 5:4 & 5)

We have a Helper, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth (John 14:16) who guides us in all truth (John 16:13) and in that we rejoice

Abba, Father we walk through life with our heads held high, Your joy fills our hearts, to be Your child (Ephesians 1:4 & 5) and to know Your love (Ephesians 3:19) is life and life abundantly (John 10:10); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Ephesians 4:1b - 6 (NKJV)
Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

There is peace and joy in obeying the upward call of our Father, life and life more abundantly is our prize when we are intimate with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

We have His Spirit who is in us, who speaks through us, who guides in His truth enabling us to be His beloved child in whom He is well pleased

Abba, Father You gave us Jesus, the firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15), may we as Your obedient children follow Him and walk in a manner that is pleasing to You (Colossians 1:10); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Abba, Father You implore us to abide in You and have Your words abide in us for then our desires will be satisfied, You will be glorified, our lives will be fruitful, and all will know us as Your disciples (John 15:7 & 8); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:57 & 58 (NKJV)
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 16:13 & 14 (NKJV)
Watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong. Let all you do be done with love.

There is a beautiful gospel song about Jesus on the Cross that contains these words, "He knew me, yet He loved me!"

Jesus the perfect sacrifice, Jesus our Deliverer, Jesus our Redeemer, Jesus our Risen Lord, Jesus our Risen Savior

Abba, Father You so loved us that You gave us Jesus, that we who believe in Him would not perish but would live forever with You (John 3:16); it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV)
The he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our LORD. Do not sorrow for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

We always have a choice as to how we look at life; Jesus confirmed that He wants us to have an upbeat, joy filled attitude

John 15:11 (NKJV)
"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."

Philippians 4:6 & 7 (NKJV)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Anxiety/worry is harmful to our health, choose Jesus, He gives us His peace

John 14:28 (NKJV)
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it  be afraid."

Abba, Father we are not children of this world but rather Your children, adopted into Your family, joint heirs with Jesus, forever Your family, filled and overflowing with Your joy and Your peace, never to be in fear; it is in the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus that we rejoice and pray. Amen.

Matthew 22:37 - 39 (NKJV)
Jesus said to them, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

In a world where honor fails at every level and at every turn, where hatred, mistrust, and payback become the way of life - You can dare to be different - You can walk in the love of your Lord and your Savior Jesus Christ

Abba, Father may we this day and each day hereafter purpose ourselves to be obedient to Your command, we will love one another as You have loved us and the world will know that we are Your disciples (John 13:34 & 35); it is the name of our Lord and our Savior Christ Jesus the perfect and forever demonstration of Your love for us that we rejoice and pray. Amen.
