Good news from Gary Marsh of the Tulsa Chapter

For several months I've been having "unsatisfactory" results on urine tests. My doctor called for a set of test that included CAT scan and MRI. With these done I was then set with another appointment with an urologist. I first saw him on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-December. His initial view called for the need of surgery, and quickly. He thought I needed to have BOTH of my kidneys removed+???

Did not LIKE that idea, so sought others thoughts. After a biopsy, finally was told that could try to remove ONLY one kidney, which was done!!! Wednesday of this week, I saw the urologist that did the surgery. He said the test results cancer were that the cancer was a VERY aggressive stain that was usually fatal. The Doc said the removal of my kidney and work on the area had got ALL of the cancer. The strain usually attacks the bladder so he wanted me to have a 3, 6 month and start on an annual exam schedule for the future.

As the urologist had got ALL of the present cancer, he said that I was now "cancer free." PTL & PTL Again!!!
